Today was a wonderful reunion day with characters from the Assassins and the Bellevue Bullies. Oh, how I have missed you all. There is just something about Toni Aleo's writing that makes me feel like the characters are friends and family. I have welcomed them into my home and never want to let them go.

Spiked by Love is Asher and Ally's story. They have yet to accept what everyone else knows--they are deeply in love and meant to be forever. Denial was easier when Asher was in California and living with Jasmine. Now he is home and she is no longer by his side. Will Ally finally be at his side??

Spiked by Love voices what many young people question. Spiked by Love examines the question of males and females as best friends. Spiked by Love shows how we might think families are up in our business but they actually do have your best interests at heart. All the characters have to do is take the step but then what?

Spiked by Love is a journey though all the emotions. I laughed--pirate jokes are the best. I cried--sometimes bad things happen. I celebrated---because love needs to be celebrated. Buy the book and escape the terrible things that are happening in the world and fall in love with the characters created by Toni Aleo.

Spiked By Love is emotional and absolutely frustrating. These two need to be smacked upside the head violently, in the nicest way possible.

Best friends forever, Ally and Asher have a secret that they have held onto individually for too many years. They have been in denial, fought their feelings, and burried them under 10 feet of rubble. No way that's getting out....and yet somehow (it's the pirate patch) everything comes out.

Between choking on their feelings and their terrible decisions, somehow, they find a way to make everyone happy. Except maybe Aaron, he seemed done with them. Lol.

Buckle up, grab the "oh shit" bar, and watch for spiked volleyballs! It's about to get crazy in here.

Spiked by Love is absolutely swoon worthy! Ally & Asher are the absolute cutest! Sporty girl falls in love with her cute, nerdy best friend, what else could be better?! I really enjoyed reading another Toni Aleo book. She never seems to disappoint. And I love always getting to catch up with her characters from the last and seeing how they’re doing. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

I just love these books with the kids from the older Assassin players from previous books! Its so nice to see the original assassins. I love seeing them as parents and how they all handle the life of being parents. And the big tangled web of the Assassins family. I love Ally and Asher's friendship. And watching them go thru trying to sort thru the gray area between everything especially if they gave things a shot was hard because like everything its hard to put your feelings out there. But i loved their story and can't wait to see who's next up in the next generation of the Assassin's.

Asher Brooks and Allison “Ally” Titov have been friends since childhood. With their Nashville Assassin families intertwined, they were always together. Asher has come home after "living life" if thats what you call a broken engagement, a college education and not being sure you'll be hired for how good you are versus who your parents and siblings are. Ally is happy to have her best friend back.

Enter those little more friendly feelings that both are a little afraid to tell the other person and ruin their friendship.
How their friends to lovers story plays out is one of my favs of Toni. (Honestly, anything with the Brooks kids is gonna rank up there as the best for me.)

Filled with pop ins from former Nashville Assassin’s books, a helping dose of pirate jokes, a sprinkling of Angie and the other kids whose personalities are giant this book is everything that helps to tie all the connections together to move on to the next in the series!

Since the very first time we were introduced to Ally and Asher's playful friendship, all I have wanted was a book for them to have a HEA. Thankfully Toni gave that to us!

Ally and Asher are probably one of my absolute couples that Toni has ever written, and thats saying a lot because I truly believe all of them are great! I loved that we got to see how their relationship evolved from friends to lovers.

Toni gave us everything I could have ever wanted in this book and then more. I can't wait to see what she has in store next!

Spiked by Love is Toni Aleo’s first venture into the friends to lovers storyline. After a break up with his fiance, Asher Brooks returns home and is reunited with his best friend Allison Titov. We first met Ally T and Ash B in the Assassins series as their moms are best friends and their dads played hockey together on the Nashville Assassins. Ally has always gone out with the wrong type of guy because she’s known since a young age that Asher was her soulmate. After Asher does something so out of character to protect Ally, it sets them on a path to decide if it’s worth staying in the friend zone or taking a chance on their happily ever after.

I love how Toni develops her characters. They are so relatable and make you feel like they are your best friend, sibling, parent, etc. She continues to weave our favorite characters through each hero/heroine’s book. It’s amazing what she is able to do with words. If you’ve never read a Toni Aleo book, I highly suggest you start right now with Spiked by Love.

I loved it so much!

Asher and ally are beyond the cutest people alive in regards to friendship. You cannot help but be like trying to smoosh them together the entire time because gosh darnit they are perfect for eachother. Taco can suck it. Lol

The author did an amazing job on this story. It flowed so well and I couldnt put the book down. It was easy to devour it. I wish there was more I loved it so much.

I loved getting to read more of the original character in the Assassins family and it just made me want to reread all of the authors books since all the families have come such a long way.

Highly recommended!
