Insane way to end the first arc of the series! Say what you will about the Erins Hunter but my god can they write a battle scene. Incredibly gratifying to see Firestar finally come into his own after watching his struggle and fumble for the first 5 books.
A shocking amount of social commentary that was lost on me as a child!Firestar’s horror at the thought of a clan that doesn’t care for its sick or elderly or disabled? Tigerstar’s racist tirade against half clan cats? Make Shadowclan great again? Cat imperialism? Religious self-determination?
Specific scene shout outs:when Firestar gets his 9 lives, when Tigerstar gets disemboweled and loses all 9 of his lives, and when Whitestorm dies and names Greystripe his successor were all highlights!

A great ending to the 1st warrior cats arc
Rip Whitestorm, he was my favorite:,(
Tigerclaw devices a plan with bloodclan leader Scourge. Meanwile Firestar is now the new leader of Thunderclan and has went to the Moonstone, he has gotten 9 lives along with a prophecy 'Four will become two, lion and tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest.' When he gets back he gets a dream about lot of blood and a bone hill He doesn't understand any of these things and can't seem to figure it out. He suspects Darkstripe (one of Tigerclaws old lackeys.) And after Firestar catches Darkstripe in the middle of trying to kill Sorrelkit with some Deathberries to make her silent about him meeting up with Tigerclaw deputy Blackfoot Firestar exiles Darkstripe
At the next gathering Tigerstar announces that they all become 1 clan he also uses Leopardstar's approval to try to make Tallstar and Firestar also agree, but they say no. Dark clouds form over fourtrees.
Graystripe is worried for his kits and Firestar and Graystripe decide to check up on them along with Ravenpaw. They see a huge pile of bones like the ones in Firestars dreams. And they see Stonefur getting murdered with Leopardstar doing nothing to stop it, they manage to escape with Featherpaw, Stormpaw and Mistyfoot. They find out that Tigerclaw wants to kill every cat that is not a bornclan cat. Tigerclaw calls the new clan with Riverclan Tigerclan
Tigerclan attacks Windclan and Gorsepaw is killed as a warning. They give the two clans one more chance to join Tigerclan, but Tallstar and Firestar say no again. They decide to work together as Lionclan.
Tigerstar calls them all clans together for a fight, he calls upon Scourge to win the battle and rule over the forest but with a turn of events Scourge kills Tigerclaw with one slash and derives him of all of his 9 lives.
Scourge gives the 4 clans the choice to or leave the forest or fight. He leaves them 3 days.
After 3 days the clans decide to stay and fight for the forest. Elders along with apprentices all fight to save their clan but sadly Whitestorm the Thunderclan deputy dies in the battle and Graystripe is appointed the new role of deputy.
firestar sees Scourge and charges forward. Bloodclan had too many cats to defeat so if he could just kill Scourge this would all be over. But Scouge saw him coming and attacked him. He looses a life, meeting with Bluestar in Starclan she gives him hope and he gets back to the fight and defeats Scourge and Bloodclan is defeated as they all scurry off, all the clans get back to their normal lives and all is well again.
I think that the Prophecies begin is such a good series and I can't wait to read the next arcs to come!

Zakończenie pierwszej serii, które podsumowuje większość wątków. Razem z pierwszym tomem będą to moje ulubione części.

Well. That escalated quickly. Maybe a bit too quickly, but then again this is geared for a young audience so maybe the fast pace works. The only problem with having it go so fast is that there isn't enough time to build up to the big battle. I feel like the first three books took too long and this last book sort of suffered for it by going by so quickly.
The BloodClan wasn't even introduced as a concept until the last book, I think, so the readers wouldn't have known to consider them a threat. Nothing was known about them and all of a sudden they were around as the secondary antagonists turned primary antagonists by the end. Meanwhile, the threat of Tigerstar has been slowly building up over the last six books. For such a huge focus of six books to end so quickly was a huge shock for me. I am a little glad that his story didn't end in revenge murder or anything like that, but I still can't believe he wasn't the final threat of this book after being such a threat for five and-a-half books.
The wording can get a little repetitive at times, but over all it was engaging. The tension rose at a good pace and I didn't want to stop reading until I knew how it would all end. I cried a few times during the course of reading. The action was done well, the deaths were shocking and heart-breaking, and it does look like Firestar is starting to become a wiser leader.
I already started reading the next book and I can't wait to see where this next arc goes!
