Covers a variety of topics. I particularly liked the references to pop culture, rest, and self compassion. There is also a reference to Jane Eyre (woman in the attic) that sounds a lot like IFS or inner community.

The chapters also have a TLDR section that makes this book accessible and easy to review.

Another late review as I read this book maybe two years ago (Im on an Emily Nagoski kick since her newest book came out) — I recommend this book to all women to help them understand, attune to, and embrace themselves. As a therapist, this book truly is a remarkable resource and tool for the wonderful people I see and I am honored to have it to pass on to others.

at the time it seemed eye-rollingly obvious and kind of not worth writing an entire book to say "do some cardio to complete the stress cycle and let your body relax" but i keep finding myself referring back to it so maybe it was worth an entire book to hammer home that point
