It's more a 3.5 stars. I'm conflicted with this book. On one hand, it was hard to read sometimes and made me disagree with some of the ideas. However, I think we can always learn with other's perspectives and it's a good thing to be exposed to different ideas, and I definitely learned something from this book and the author's mindset.

Author is highly biased (in the materialistic manner) and cruel to his biological father (if the anecdote he created is true). The story he brings tells about looking for (and finding) someone for a father material, because the actual father is just a decent guy and the author tells about it in an awful way. On the top of it, I found out that the book was actually the form of advertisement to the author's course, which was basically a pyramid scheme. Not worth my time.
Robert Kiyosaki tells it like it is. This is a good primer to learning about finance, especially because schools don't teach this kind of knowledge in their curriculum. Kiyosaki clearly defines the mindset needed to start accumulating wealth. I had never known the true definitions of assets and liabilities until I read this book. Simply put, as Robert Kiyosaki says, assets put money in your pocket, and liabilities take money out of your pocket. The only rule to getting rich is to know the difference between assets and liabilities, and buy assets. This is the only rule, and it is true according to my brother, who has acquired nearly $300,000 in assets over the course of the past five years. If you want to achieve financial freedom, this is a good place to start.
