I just felt like it was too fast and I didn't buy the connection between the couple. We didn't get enough of them spending time together and getting to know one another. They just started banging right away. I needed more relationship development, less sexy time.

This book was super cute. Rosie was so so strong as an FMC. To break the trauma and abuse she experienced as a child and runaway from her life and to see her literally bloom as the book progresses. Byron has his own childhood trauma that’s different than what Rosie has experienced. And Star Falls is the place to basically heal their trauma. Rosie ran away from her life in order to break away and be the best version of herself, and Byron ran away from Star Fall as an 18 year old and now he’s back to break the stigma and reputation he’s acquired as a runaway.
Sammy B and JC are the literal best duo. I could listen these two narrate any book and it would be perfection.

Audiobook Vibes:
Narration by 𝐽𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐶𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑒 & 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑟 was absolute perfection. These two have amazing voices that blend beautifully! Their performances of bringing us Byron & Rosey were just what I needed. The way 𝐽𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐶𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑒 nailed the broodiness of Byron made me swoon so many times! 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑟'𝑠 portrayal of Rosey, the runaway bride.....I loved every second of listening to her!
Overall Vibes:
This is book 1 in the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, and I am already hooked! From the slow burn of chemistry between Byron & Rosey to him falling absolutely head over heels for her before she did to all the side characters, this story had an absolute hold on me. I loved the push and pull between the main characters. Wrap that up with a story of finding an epic love......it was a beautiful story! I can't wait for book 2!

What a swoony and empowering story.
I absolutely love how much Rosie grew once she got out from her mother’s clutches. She was strong & resilient, but never lost her sparkle & kindness.
I love the connection and chemistry between Rosie & Byron, it was so swoony. I love how they both were pulled to each other, and opened up to each other so well. They helped each other heal & understand.
I loved the locals, they were all so caring and some a bit quirky.
This was such a sweet, easy, comfy read.
It had passion, spice, found family, small town charm & peace.

Small Town Romance
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Love Fast as the setting is different to the other books written by the author. Most of her previous books are set in big cities like London or New York, but Love Fast is set in a small town in Colorado.
We first met Byron in the New York Billionaires series. In those books, he is described as spending a significant portion of his time in Colorado. In Love Fast, we find out that this is where Byron grew up and he has painful memories of that time.
Rosey is a runaway bride, trying to get a way from a life, and a man that she knows isn’t right for her.
Both are a journey of self-discovery and fall in love during that journey. Love Fast is the small-town romance you didn’t know you needed. It has all the feels.

Thoughts: I thought this was a great weekend book. It was lighthearted and low angst. It was relaxing while still holding my attention. I liked that even though it was very insta love, the relationship between Rosey and Byron didn’t feel rushed. Both Rosey and Byron had great character growth. Rosey was finding her way and making her own decisions for the first time in her life. And Byron was returning to his hometown and facing down his perceived demons of his late childhood. I really liked the way they brought the best out in each other. Byron showed Rosey that she could be in a relationship without losing herself. And Rosey opened Byron’s eyes to the community that he was still very much a part of, despite running away 15 years ago. I loved how they both found their place in Star Falls and with each other.

This story follows Rosie, who has become too comfortable in her life and realizes—on her wedding day—that she can’t marry the man her family chose just to keep them happy. So, she sets off to escape and start fresh. But what happens when she meets Byron, who’s only in town to set up his new billionaire club—not to take a walk down memory lane in his hometown?
I really loved this small-town romance, and the audiobook narration was brilliant—it truly enhanced the reading experience! The MMC, Byron, made something of himself in New York but returns to his hometown to build a luxurious club. He wasn’t planning on staying, but he found a reason to call it home again. I really liked Byron as a character, and I was swooning over how he acted with Rosie.
Rosie is the jilted bride trying to rediscover herself without her family’s influence. She wants to make her own choices, rather than having them made for her. I loved her character and how she developed throughout the story. The dynamic between the main characters made this read really enjoyable.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the series, as I assume it will follow Byron’s best friends.

This book had such promise! But I'm not sure why it didnt hit as well for me (maybe not the best time for me to read it?). Even though I wasn't the biggest fan of this book, I still recommend it! I loved the premise and both charavters were enjoyable! I love a runaway bride romance, and a hidden identity for Byron because he wanted Rosey to get to know him as him, and not the boss was pretty freaking cute.
