I love my little chestnut springs family and the first five chapters of this were really promising but the more I read the more I didn’t care about Jasper, Sloane, or the entire plot of this book! I find this ironic because this used to be the book I wanted to read most in this series but oh well. This was way too long and nothing worthwhile happened. The scene with the bathroom actually made me so freaking uncomfortable – I almost started to cry, that's how uncomfortable I was. Heck every smut scene in this was just bad and I think it's more to do with how I don’t like either main characters. I hated their flirting too… I am so thankful for audiobooks and the 3x speed option. I am also so happy that I never have to read this ever again!
I was gonna give this book two stars because I did enjoy like five percent of this but then the book kept going and I couldn't handle it anymore. I am on a mission to finish as many books that I already own before I finally decide to buy more and this was one of the books.
