First off, Will M Watt is my new favorite male author. I adore the Harris family and ready for the next in this sports rom-com series!

I'd say the strength of this novel is in its first half, and then right at its (very) end. I love the friends-to-lovers trope, but there was a little bit too much back-and-forth that detracted from the story. Poppy's willingness to continually be pulled back in, and Booker's lack of self awareness seemed more suited to characters of a younger age. Overall, though, there are some great moments, and it piqued my interest in Gareth's story.

❝When you spend a lifetime chasing after people who were always running away from you, having someone to sit still with can be really fucking attractive.❞

Despite[b: Keeper (Harris Brothers, #3)] being the only book I’ve read in the series,[a: Amy Daws|8193655|Amy Daws|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1574103749p2/8193655.jpg] managed to create a best-friends-to-lovers romance that stands on its own.

Booker and Poppy were so dense and stubborn at times that I just wanted to shake them—they both had a lot of growing up to do. The journey to their HEA was filled with meddling families, poorly thought out schemes, and repressed feelings. Overall, an enjoyable read—just not one of my favorites.

However, I am interested in going back and reading Tanner’s and Camden’s stories, because the characters were just so entertaining.

I fell in love with the Harris brothers the moment I started reading Challenge and as the series progresses they just keep getting better and better. Camden was firmly sitting pretty as my favorite Harris brother up until I read Keeper. Why? Two words: Booker Harris. *swoon* That man. Sweet baby Jesus. He is now sitting pretty at the top of my Harris brother totem pole with Camden right behind him.

Not only does Keeper have the dreamy Booker Harris, but Poppy is adorable and quirky. Seeing her fall into an immediate friendship with Belle and Indie was so fun. Especially once Belle's crazy started showing. I seriously want to be best friends with these girls.

If you have yet to meet the Harris brothers, you are missing out on truly wonderful books. Amy Daws weaves romance, sports, and amazing family dynamics to create stories that are both funny and romantic. Angst. Humor. Romance. Desire. It's all part of her magic.

Amy Daws you, my dear, are a freaking genius. Never stop writing.

I voluntarily received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Definitely a keeper!

These books just get better and better! I loved all the history and development of Poppy in this book. Amy has made it hard to decide which Harris brother is my favorite, each book I change who is. There was lots of sadness, anger, love, steam, and happiness in this story! I laughed out loud quite a few times and giddied with happiness a lot! Great job on this story!

childhood friends to lovers ❤️

These Harris boys definitely have a hold on my heart. I loved reading about Booker and Poppy as kids, they were so adorable. I’m starting to think that Booker is my favorite brother. I love all the brothers but there’s something about Booker that I love more. Also, I love getting football crazy Vi and mother hen Vi scenes. I’m happy that Belle and Indie get along so well with Poppy too. Don’t forget in this book, we get Tanner and Belle’s wedding!
