So good! Love Poppy and Booker, they’re so cute together. And my heart broke for Booker when he thought he couldn’t love anyone other than his crazy family. Which was just stupid, as he has loved Poppy his whole life.

And the audio is everything. I’ve read it in ebook before, but the audio in duet with Charlotte Cole and Will M. Watt just makes the story ten times better. Will just has this range with accents, it’s amazing!

This third installation of the Harris brother. I love the carefree relationship Booker and Poppy have. this book focuses on the Freinds to lover trope. my favourite part is when they let go and dance and don't care who is watching.

The baby of the Harris brother gets his love story. As the youngest of the family, he saw the hurt that love caused his family so he closes himself off but one sneaks past and that is Poppy his childhood best friend. As they got older their feeling became complicated, to say the least. Poppy solution is to her broken heart is to move to a new country and get her teaching degree. During that time Booker focussed on his Football career. Then when Poppy needs a temporary place to stay Booker insists on her staying with him. Alcohol is mixed and old feelings safest and causes a rollercoaster of feeling on both ends.
When bell and Indie get Poppy to finally confess her feelings for Booker, Bell comes up with one of her crazy plans. This plan teases Booker for the two weeks before Bell and Tanner's wedding. On the wedding day, they brought their dates but left with each other.
But their happiness was short-lived when one of their "slips" before being a couple created a life. She said I love you but did not get it back, and this puts a tire in their relationship, and Booker has to rectify it by doing an unconventional grand gesture. He built a new fort for their new baby in the forest where they grow up.

4.5 stars.
Booker was complicated and I wasn't expecting him to be so complicated.
Poppy was cute and funky and I appreciated her quirks. I also loved Andrew and wouldn't mind an Andrew story.
Each story shares more about the siblings who came before and I just love continue in that Harris world.

I really liked these two together. It took a while for Booker to get his feelings in order, but he did not disappoint. Great addition to the series!

Booker and Poppy’s friends to lovers story was both sweet and frustrating. There were moments I wanted to shake some sense into them while giving them both a stern talking to. That’s when you know you’re completely lost in the storyline and invested in the outcome. It’s hard not to fall in love with the Harris family and to be pulled into their unique dynamic. I’m a huge fan of this series and can’t wait to read more.

Can't go wrong with an Amy Daws book! I haven't been reading the synopsis or reviews for her books, I just pick up the next one and go! So, I was surprised
Spoiler when the pregnancy was revealed. I'm glad that I didn't find out ahead of time because I usually feel annoyed going into a pregnancy book. They just aren't my jam. But this didn't take over the entire book and when Booker worked through all his emotional stuff, I understood why the pregnancy trope was used here. I support Amy Daws using this trope because she's done it twice (that I'm aware of) and I didn't hate it either time.

I love all these Harris brothers books and Booker's is a friends to lovers and accidental pregnancy trope. As the youngest in a large family, and born after the twins, Book has always felt like a bit like a loner in the family and constantly babied. His solace growing up was hid relationship with Poppy, the girl next door.

Poppy grew to fall in love with the boy next door and then got her heart broken by what she thought was an act of betrayal on his part. Then she runs and hides off in Germany (we could all be so lucky).

Fast forward 6 years, they still good friends but have definitely drifted apart. She needs a temporary living space...and you know what happens. It doesn't even take that love for the lust to take over and bad decisions to be made.

I personally felt not as engaged with this story, and maybe because it felt so similar to a book I had just read right before this. Or maybe it just didn't have the Cam/Tan charm. I will say Will M Watt and Charlotte Cole gave great performances as usual and Will even gave us some Scottish and Irish side characters!

I think what I was most interested in is the more we're seeing from Gareth in the ramp up to what will definitely be a heartbreaking story (up next). The extended family that comes in the 3rd act also has me wanting to go listen to Amy's back catalog!

Keeper picks up with the Harris brother’s stories with Booker, the youngest of the 5 Harris siblings. At this point, I can say though it wasn’t my favorite of the series (I’m really enjoying Gareth’s story), this is a super sweet romance that was very enjoyable in audio. The entire series is spectacular in audio. It lacked the humor of the first two books and doesn’t have the touch of the forbidden and suspense that Gareth’s story does. However, it is a very sweet and often steamy story about childhood best friends getting a second chance with a close proximity storyline.

Booker and Poppy were childhood best friends, meeting when both needed someone who understood them. Everything was good until Poppy leaves for university in Germany and they drifted apart. Meanwhile, Booker has become one of the best goalies in his league. Out of the blue, Poppy returns and is back in Booker’s life. With a brand new flat all to himself and Poppy needing somewhere to stay until her flat is available, Booker invites Poppy to stay. She isn’t the same girl she was and she has secrets. And Booker has long guarded his heart from love, but with his best friend so close, it’s not long before they each realize they need the other.

I can’t say enough about how much I love the audio of this series. In duet narration, Will Watts and Charlotte Cole give amazing performances that bring all the humor, angst, and drama of the Harris family to life. Their performances are consistent between all the books, even with the nuances of the voices they give to each character from one book to the next. I don’t think I would enjoy these stories half as much written because the audio is just that good. Booker and Poppy’s story is an excellent addition to the series, even if it’s not my favorite of the bunch. Each story is different and so good, but for me, it’s hard to top the shenanigans of the twins' stories. I dove right into Gareth’s story and will be so sad when this series is over.
