I love this series, it's light and fun. I was reading on the train on my work commute smiling away, then tears, then reading faster when there was action. I highly recommend this story.

Another winner! I love Zoe (her siblings, too!) - and Parker is the perfect foil. Watching them struggle to figure things out was a whole lot of fun - a fabulous read!

I enjoy sinking into Shalvis when I need a mind cleanse. But I REALLY hate when publishers allow covers that are general and lend nothing to the story.

the boy had the green eyes this time! flipping the whole thing around! I liked that there were cats again. i...thought the plot was meh. I liked parker, I didn't care much about Zoe. I continue to not really like Darcy. I don't remember if she ate with a wooden spoon. she probably did. there was quite a bit of junk food eating. yes, I'm fixated on this now. something else that started happening with more regularity in these last 3 happened in this one too but now I don't even remember what it was. they all go "brows up" a lot. but that wasn't it. oh well. forgettable.

I remember! it was the whole bemoaning how one character was always just passing thru and not staying in sunshine. this plot was really prevalent in ALL the books. get a new plot, shalvis! and some new eye colors. and some real spoons. and a character without a traumatic back story, for fuck's sake.

Jill Shalvis delivers another laugh out loud gorgeous romance! I can't say enough good things about these books. I love that this series always has a lead starring animal in it. The animals always play a part in the story and I love that!

This is Zoe Stone and Parker James' story, along with Zoe's rescue companion, Oreo. Zoe had me cracking up through this book. She was just a sassy character who I fell in love with. I love the fact that she is a pilot!

I seriously loved this book and would highly recommend it!

I gave this one a shot because I've heard so many good things about Jill Shalvis and I've been looking for more contemporary romance to read. This one wasn't 100% my jam, but I enjoyed it overall, and the things that I didn't like were purely a matter of my taste and preferences.

To start off, I liked both characters, especially the heroine, and approved of their romance. Nothing stupid or terrible happened between them, and although there was a little withholding of useful information, it wasn't portrayed as "huge misunderstanding that could have been cleared up with a 30 second conversation." It was a nice romance in general. It started off with a small dollop of insta-lust (a trope I dislike only when paired with "this turned into the best sex of my life for no reason," which this was not), which turned from there into love within a pretty short amount of time. That should have been something I disliked, but it worked in this book. The sexy scenes were sexy, and the romance scenes were straightforward and honest, nothing too sappy.

I also liked the balance of plot vs. sex/romance - too heavy on one or the other and the story can feel unrealistic. While the plot strayed just a little into suspenseful territory, it was pretty brief. Little pieces of characterization came out through the plot, which I really appreciated.

Things that weren't my jam: Parker (the hero) was a little alpha-y for my taste (although that was tempered, a lot, with kittens and a well-portrayed sweetness). A couple of other things that are pretty common in romance novels worked okay in this one but aren't really my thing, like a vague reason for them to not be together tearing them apart for the whole book, or the small amount of time in which they have amazing sex that turns into love.

But I enjoyed it, and read it in a couple of days. I'd like to read more by this author, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

I’ve said it many times, but let it be said once more! Jill Shalvis is my happy place!
She’s one of the very few authors who can give me happy feels from page one to the end of the book.

Her Animal Magnetism series is in my opinion the next best thing next to her Lucky Harbor series. An imaginary world that I only wish was true, and knowing that if it was I would move there in a minute.

Me and some other addict friends actually have it all figured out.

I would open a bakery, (not sure if in Lucky Harbor or Jackson at this point, my guess is either.) my friends would open a paper goods shop and a bookstore, and we would all meet our caring alphas there.

Sigh.
I can really picture it, lol!

Jill Shalvis’ books are full of good feels and fantasy material. Take her men for example, I know the trend in romance books seems to be the Jerk kind, the Alpha Asshole, (they’re a thing, let me tell you.) but get this, Jill Shalvis does not indulge in this particular kind. Her Alphas are what I like to think of The Real Deal. Caring, funny, cocky, arrogant, protective, honorable, sexy… Her men are all that. Without never, ever, falling into the “asshole” category.

It’s safe to say that All I Want was yet another success from Jill Shalvis, as she beautifully and skillfully delivered here a swooning, sexy and hilarious story!

Now get this, Zoe Stone is a… PILOT. How kick-ass is that? You will fall in love with Zoe, sassy and independent young woman, for many years she took care of her younger brother and sister, their parents, diplomats for the US government have been stationed out of the country for a long time now. She inherited from their grandparents house in Jackson, Idaho, where the 3 siblings grew up and lived over the last years.

Now on her own, she’s ready to date again and envisage her future in a relationship. The book opens on the night of her first blind date, courtesy of her little hellion of a sister.

Holy crap on a stick—he’s hot for a guy named Newman.

Special Agent Parker James, is on forced vacation leave after his last operation went down, causing the life of his partner. Stubborn man, he can’t force himself to listen to the orders he received to not follow the trail that would lead him to the men responsible for his partner death. Trail that led him near Jackson, Idaho. And what a happy coincidence, his best friend, Wyatt Stone lives there and deftly proposed him to stay at his old house, as in Zoe’s house.

Here starts the impromptu and full of surprises co-living between Parker and Zoe. Chemistry was instant between our roommates and I loved the slow burn romance Shalvis delivered here, SO GOOD! And hilarious!

Imagine an instant, you, living with a sexy as sin stranger in your old house, no locks on the bathroom door, I mean, you can imagine some serious bathroom shenanigans, right? No? Here are some inspirational gifs for you. (also, HOTTEST shower scene EVER)

You have a handled in there. Do you ever use it when you think of me?

Another thing to consider with the Animal Magnetism series. The animals. They’re just as important as the main characters, and Jill Shalvis will not only make you laugh and swoon, she will get you to care about her animals. I loved the dog and the cats in this book. Oreo alone played a huge part in the relieving comedy moments and I truly fell in love with this dog.

I loved everything in All I Want, the inner thoughts of Zoe, snarky and quirky heroine, the all around good guy vibe from Parker, the steamy sex scenes, the banter… All of it!

All I Want was a great mix of romance, suspense and feel good times, it sure will leave you with a huge grin on your face and a need for more, more of Jill Shalvis men. (Overindulging is recommended!)

All I Want” can be read as a standalone, however, I cannot recommend you enough to read the previous book in this series, all will put a smile on your face and flutters in your heart.

I will never get tired of reading a book by Jill Shalvis, swear it. She is my go to author and I don't even need to read the blurb before I open each and every book. Is there a certain formula/pattern to her books, probably, but I never seem to tire of it. I love how each of her series intertwines characters and storylines because it makes everything feel familiar and makes the reading experience even better.

Parker is sweet, sexy and just the right amount of alpha. Zoe is a bit of an enigma. She doesn't like change but she's not ready to fully commit to anything for an extended amount of time, she's lonely but doesn't like to put herself out there and she's fiercely independent and extremely loyal to those she cares about. The two of them have some serious chemistry, both in the bedroom and out.

I read this book in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.

If you like sweet, sexy romance with little to no angst and a whole lot of furry cuteness, then this is a must read.

Zoe Stone is a pilot for hire. We've seen her in other books in this series as the older, very straight-laced sister. But in this book, we find out a little bit more about why she ticks and what kind of man she can fall in love with. Mostly.
Parker Williams works for the USFWS catching poachers. He's on an enforced break right now after his partner was killed by a poacher who seems to be getting off scot-free.
I liked that there was very little "he's my brothers best friend/sister so we can't date" but I never felt like we got to know either person well.
