This series got cheesier and cheesier as they went on. It was a cute story but they were getting super predictable after then third book.

Oh my this book was so freaking good! I've been patiently waiting for Ethan's story and Carly definitely didn't disappoint! Ethan has been through so much turmoil since his wife's overdose. He has stayed away from women, mainly because he doesn't trust them.....until Sienna. Sienna has had her life turned upside down with family drama and she's just ready to live her life she's just not sure what she wants to do. Ethan and Sienna are explosive, sexy and so much fun to read I never wanted it to end. If you love the Knight family and the Dare family then you can't go wrong with this combination!

DNF. I finished chapter six at least... 55%.

I’m not a fan of the writing style.

I’m not a fan of the characters.

I’m not a fan of third person.

Why can’t I finish anything lately?

An easy romance that fit the mood I was in. I would've liked about 50 more pages, just for some depth and a less abrupt ending, but I'm definitely intrigued enough to continue with some of Sienna's siblings' stories.

*Spoilers*

Ethan has had a very rough year. His wife died of an overdose and he then finds out that she was stealing from his company and cheating on him. He is then talked into attending an event where he meets the lovey Sienna Dare. Sienna is a virgin and finds the perfect man to lose her V card to in Ethan. This one night stand turned into a few more times and it quickly becomes a lifetime when she finds out she is pregnant.

Sienna has her own family drama and when they find out that she is pregnant things go a little haywire.

Will Sienna and Ethan be able to move past everything and raise their child?

I loved this story so much! Tropes galore, and it was so fun seeing our old favorite Dare family in this Knight family series-ender.

Ethan Knight is the oldest of 4 siblings, and CEO of his family's technology company, but he has had a terrible year. A year ago his wife died of an accidental overdose. Apparently she was an opioid addict, after becoming addicted to pills after surgery. She was also embezzling money from his family's business, as well as cheating on him. And he didn't know any of it until she was already dead. She had been handling a huge project for the company out in California, and he was in NYC, so they had been distant before she passed, but that didn't lessen the shock at all. He's been in a perpetual sour mood ever since, which his family understands, but are finally starting to lose their patience with. He's been working hard to rectify the mess she made in California, while keeping all his other important projects running smoothly. He needs something to get his head back on straight, or he's going to drive everyone he loves insane. Enter a most unexpected surprise.

Sienna Dare is the baby of her family, of both her full, and half siblings. She survived childhood leukemia 15 years ago, thanks to a bone marrow donation from her half-sister Avery. But that whole episode blew up both their families, as their liar of a father was exposed for having 2 families, and everyone was left devastated. She's just graduated college, and is debating going to get her MBA in NYC. Her oldest half-brother, Ian Dare, calls in a business connection to be Sienna's escort for the weekend in New York, to explore the school, attend a reception there, and see if she's interested in living in the city. She expects it to be an informative weekend, and hopes it will make her decision about whether or not to continue with school easier for her. But, she doesn't count on Ethan Knight.

Sienna and Ethan had a strong connection from the first glance of each other, though neither of them were what the other was expecting. I loved their banter, and their easy discussions while they got to know one another. Both knew that they could only have one night together, regardless of what they each wanted. Ethan has a huge contract with her brother Ian, and he can't let anything derail it. Also, they live in different states, and Sienna still doesn't have her life or future figured out at all. But, of course, best laid plans often go awry, and they created something that will link them together for a long time to come.

Sienna was the first virgin heroine this author has written, to my knowledge, and I loved how believable it was that she still would be at 23, after the way her family was, and her childhood illness. She wanted to find the right guy who made her feel she was ready, and after spending the evening with Ethan, she knew he was the guy she wanted to be with for the first time. Their attraction was hot, and I loved watching them connect in a deeper way than they expected. Of course, there was a surprise baby, which was so fun, and I loved seeing her brother Ian's reaction to it all. His book came out many years ago now, but he's always been a favorite. He can be an overbearing jerk a lot of the time, especially as concerns his family, but he loves them so much. It took a lot for him to accept and truly come to care for his half siblings, after everything that happened, so I adored seeing his newly forged connection with Sienna, and how he began to treat her just as he did his other 2 sisters, for better, or for worse.

Ethan made some big missteps in his dealings with Sienna once he showed up in Florida. I cringed at times, and I was glad when Sienna wasn't just willing to take what he claimed was all he could give her. She knew she was worth more, and she let him know it. I like that even though she was young, she wasn't a pushover, and she never settled. Her family also made some errors in not trusting her to be the adult she was, and still trying to baby her when they shouldn't. She really worked hard to let everyone know that she could handle whatever life dished out, and that she expected to be treated equally with her siblings. Seeing most of the Dare clan, as well as the Knight family from the prior books, was a total delight, and I loved the way this book closed out the Knight family's series, as well as setting up a new series with the final untold Dare story, that of Sienna's brother Jason. He lives in NYC and owns a popular nightclub with his best friends. His story sounds so intriguing, and I'm looking forward to it next!

3.75 stars I enjoyed this and it really was a super quick read. All the family members and their families were a bit confusing at times but the plot, such as it is was easy to sink into. For the amount of drama however it could have done with another 50-100 pages to deal with it because a lot of the threads never got tied off. But the connection and eventual relationship between Sienna and Ethan was fast paced to say the least. I also think those extra pages could have come in handy to flesh out their connection.

This is my first read of the author and maybe I should have read the previous books in the series before reading this one, because I don't really know the full history of the Dare’s and specifically what Sienna has gone through. And obviously this being the third book in the series, not much was being said about the MCs past histories.

Sienna is in her early twenties, just finished college, now she needs to decide what to do with her life. She has decided it's time to start making decisions for herself, for once. New York is the place where she is going to start. Attending a function to assist in helping to choose a career, Sienna is escorted by Ethan there, and the minute she sets her sights on him she is determined that she is going to have him.

Ethan had his world turned upside down when his wife died of a drug overdose and her many hidden secrets came to light. He became a broken shell of a man not willing to put his trust in woman again until Sienna Dare came into his life. Asked by an important client to look after his little sister while she is in New York, Ethan becomes completely bewitched by her.

Seriously, if I had read the series from the very beginning maybe I would appreciate the story more and have a better understanding. That's the only reason why I gave it a 3 stars. But nevertheless, it was a great book! I loved how love changed Ethan and watching him evolve into the man that his family knew he was capable being and how much he loves Sienna and the vulnerability he shows is in and of itself worth the read of this book.
