All I have to say is WHOA!!! Just when I think I am on Team Donovan.....you get to know Harlow. I am Team Harlow all the way! She is the feisty cousin who has always walked to the beat of her own drummer. Her cousins treat her like their little sister, which can be smothering when it comes to dating. It is doubly so when she can't seem to get the smoking hot Cole out of her mind. Cole has had a hard life and the Collins brothers are like family. That is normally a great thing, except once Harlow gets into his mind and won't leave! They are explosive together and she gives as good as she gets. I love how they slowly break down each others walls and when the time comes, will they risk everything they have relied on to be together? Love the snark, banter, fiery passion and the heart in this one. I loved it!!

Inked Playboy by Sloane Howell and Alex Wolf is part of the Cocky Suits Chicago series and I can't rave about this book enough. Although part of a series, this book can be read as a stand alone and in any particular order. There will be spoilers on the other couples though.

This story features Harlow Collins, a cousin of the Collins Brothers. This girl is FIERCE. She is tough as nails and takes no nonsense from anyone. It was entertaining to see how the mighty fall. I loved her gentle side and how much she struggled with it.

I highly recommend this novel. There is a rarely portrayed dominant female, romance and a happy ending, what else can you ask for.

Enjoy

Battle of the Alphas!

Holy cow, I absolutely loved this book! Harlow is possibly my favorite female character of all time. I loved her attitude and strength. Of course, Cole was all kinds of sexy. It really was like watching two Alpha characters battle one another. Just... perfection!

This is a fast paced story. A fast paced romance. A hate romance almost. :D The youngest of the Collins crew (albeit a cousin and not a sibling,) Harlow is tough as nails. As bada$$ as a girl can get. Who could be more perfect for her than a MMA champion fighter. Together they spar and together the sparks fly. The steam is off the charts. We're talking the angry kind of sexual relations. Everything (including their relationship) is hard and fast. Cole Miller is one of those guys whose bark is almost worse than his bite. But he isn't a pushover. He just has a heart under all those tats and that fighter persona. You will recognize most of the characters if you've read any of the other books in the Cocky Suits Chicago series. Each is a stand alone, but the characters are all inter-related (the men are brothers, except this book... Cole is a good friend of the boys.) This is definitely a hot read, as most (not all, but most) of their attraction is sexual, but there is an underlining dilemma or two that plays a part in hindering them from taking things further. Despite the story being primarily hard and fast, there are some softer moments throughout. My one complaint, is that I kept waiting for more depth to their relationship, but it never really came. Don't get me wrong, there were some deeper moments they shared, but not what I was expecting, so it felt as if the sexual attraction was all they had. It reads easily. It alternates between POVs. Obviously, this is intended for mature readers.

*I received an ARC of this book.

Thanks to these two amazing author duo for an ARC to read and offer my honest opinion. This series is on my top ten of 2020, and this is Harlow and Cole’s story.

What did I like? After the four brother’s I though the series was finished but to my surprise the author’s brought out the best in Harlow and Cole. Cole is an ex WMMA fighter...retired and opening a series of gyms he was previously mentioned in the other books. Harlow is the cousins of the Collin’s brother’s and they over protect her in spades. Combined fireworks spark at a wedding leading to a hot night together in which both of them want more. The smoldering chemistry between the two is just amazing.

Would I buy or recommend? This is KU series, and really a no brainer. My favorite of the series is still possessive playboy but this part was still highly enjoyable. I like how we can still get the whole group together and still get glimpses through out the whole series. I love it when a series is all encompassing.

Thoughts for the authors? Congratulations on your new release guys! What a great series and some beautiful covers. Thanks so much for allowing me an ARC, I couldn’t put it down! Five amazing stars!

Holy Hotness! Cole is terrific! And he and Harlow are absolutely perfect together. From the banter to the can't keep their hands off each other chemistry to the feels, I loved everything about Cole and Harlow's romance, including the fact that he's the one to dive in headfirst almost immediately. He knows what he wants, he's completely determined, and he just may be the only man on the planet who can handle the ball of fury and toughness that is Harlow Collins plus be tough enough to deal with the rest of the Collins clan. I've liked the sassy Harlow since her first appearance in this series, so it was great to finally get to know more about her, and Cole - well, Cole is one of my favorite types of characters. He's a bit broken and his story will rip your heart out, so even though he is all alpha male on the outside, he's still a bit lost and scared on the inside. So, what we have is an absolutely unputdownable addition to the Cocky Suits Chicago series, and I can't wait to see what this dynamic duo does next.

What an amazing addition to the series! Inked Playboy had off the charts chemistry between Harlow and Cole that kept me wanting more. Both characters give as good as they get and they were definitely made for each other! This book was fun, sexy, and had a few challenges along the way to test this couple. I truly enjoyed everything about this book!

ARC received for an honest review

We have had the Collins brothers, now it is time for their cousin Harlow to find her HEA.

*fanning self* my, the sexual tension between Harlow and Cole (Dex's BFF), you can cut it with a knife, slap it on a slice of bread and eat it right up.

I feel that Harlow was brought into Cole's life to drive him bonkers, and she did this well.

There was a little something missing with this installment compared to the previous books, I am just not sure if I can put my finger on exactly what it was. I think I was missing a bit of the oomph that the previous books had.

I feel that I wanted more fight/passion between them.

But this could just be me.

I liked seeing more of the Collins boys and their lovely ladies, and love the family dyanamics.

I look forward to more from this duo.

I freaking loved Harlow and Cole, they worked so well together. They had so much chemistry, it was off the charts. The book itself was amazing, I was smiling while reading basically through the whole read. Another 5 star read!!!!
