Wow. This book was a journey. At first I wasn't sure I would love it. It felt very slow and the writing style took me a second to get used to. But then suddenly I was hooked. I loved it! I loved Addie's defiance and her decision to always live, despite the pain. My heart hurts for Henry and I loved getting to know him and his friends. I even loved Luc's dark and sadistic little self. The ending was perfect and caugjt me off guard. Addie LaRue, you will always be remembered.

This book knocked the wind out of me. I teared up towards the end when I realised what Addie had done. I found it so moving and also enticing — I’m not quite sure what to do with that now I’m finished!

I like that the book had a limited premise — which meant we could go deep into the implications of that, as opposed to reaching too far and being expansive when it didn’t necessarily warrant that.

I think this one’s gonna stick with me

Just finished this and I’m speechless. It was so clever and beautifully written and raw. I cried at the end and I love that this book is the book in the story. The chapters and format were brilliant. This book has my heart.
