After having read this book, the glowing reviews make me feel nuts.

This book is awful.

If it was possible to give a book no stars, I'd give it.

The writing was mediocre at best, the characters were unrelatable, the process of getting to the "mystery" was unengaging, and the twist was just... Bad. Like M. Night Shyamalan bad. You'll probably like this book if you thought The Village was a good movie.

-sigh- I'm left here scratching my head for not good reasons. This was terrible.

I give this 3 Stars because it really did pick up at the end and I enjoyed all the twistyness of it all. I have to admit, it got a bit boring only because it took a long time to actually figure things out. But I won't spoil anything. Was alright, wasn't a total bust. :)

Loved it!

Fantastic, believable characters; well constructed plot; perfectly paced. Well done!

This book was advertised as a psychological thriller along the lines of GIRL ON THE TRAIN and GONE GIRL. Yes, it was similar to those books, but both of those were better at keeping my interest. I figured it out early and was annoyed that it took so long for what I knew to be revealed. Dang it! Who knew I was such a sleuth?!

I'd say this is 4 stars.
Everything about the book itself screams twists and turns, just what I like in every book I read.
It is recommended to anyone who also have interest in this kind of genre.
I enjoyed every second reading as if I was the protagonist in the story.

I hate myself for putting this book in my shelf for so many months because I'm busy reading others.

Not bad for completed speed
Good books got to keep track as does swop and change from present to past so you to keep tack other wise won't understand for further along
Took me till page 200+ to keep going as that's when it really did take off with the twists and turns
Still doesn't beat GIRL ON THE TRAIN but similar plot kind of
