3.5 stars rounded to 4 due to the David Bowie love and that the heroine's age starts with a 3.
2-flames/4 hearts.

There is nothing like a fun comfy chick lit read and this one has a little bit of everything; adventure, excitement, romance, a decent dash of corny, fun, quirky characters and plenty of originality.

This book was highly entertaining and such a fast read. I have never read a book so fast in my life, I mean it as in per pages per minute, including middle grade novels. I could have probably read it in one sitting but I chose not to. This book is perfect for times like these. You will be entertained and will forget about what's going on in the world the moment you pick it up. I understand this isn't the best book ever which is why I gave it 3.5 stars but oh my God do I recommend it. It truly is the quickest of reads.
Quality of the book: 3
Entertaining value: 4
How much of a quick read it is 4.5
If I were to round it up I would give it a higher rating but I'm happy with this one because Stockholm Syndrome much and because with this book I've discovered aliens and humans dating and having sex is definitely not my cup of tea.
Overall, I truly enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel. Also, it is free on Amazon Kindle so go pick it up and have a good time, we all need it right now.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐.5

This book was awful but with tiny little nuggets of good dotted in every so often. But with this book I've officially finished the Pop Sugar 2019 challenge and the ATY summer reading challenge *phew*

Daisy is kidnapped by an alien prince and his friend as they vacation on Earth and need a local to show them around. All they know of Earth, they learned from an errant entertainment news feed. Griffin is rude, an idiot and can't even get her name right. Dev, the friend, is a more interesting character, but somehow, even though I gave up halfway through, I just know that Daisy and Griffin hook up even though Dev at least treats her with respect.

Griffin really just grated on me so much that I had to give the book up.

Being a Roswell native, I love aliens, little, green and otherwise. so I really, really, really like the particular brand of alien found in Saunders' DATING AN ALIEN POP STAR!
Alien love, all the way, Earthlings...all the way.

Not only is the plot unique and the writing light and starry-skied, but Griffin and Devon are not your typical aliens, nor are they your typical strapping young galaxy knights in shining armor. They have issues and, somehow, those issues make them all the more adorable, and (pardon the pun) out of this world. :)

DATING AN ALIEN POP STAR is a romp of a read and if you don't like aliens now, you 'll have your eye on the sky after reading this book!

What does one do when an alien requests their help? That is the dilemma Daisy faces in Dating an Alien Popstar. I absolutely loved this book and the adventures of Daisy,Kammie,Griff and Devon.

This was just a fun book. Like pop music, light, fluffy, and happy. The premise is that aliens similar to humans arrive on earth, ostensibly looking for David Bowie (who he believes is also an alien) and one of them (Griffin) also wants to become a pop star. To help them fit in, they kidnap Daisy Kirkwood. And so starts the wild adventure, as Daisy helps them with shopping and navigating earth culture, that leads to events with far reaching consequences.

As I mentioned earlier, this book was just a lot of fun. The characters are all likeable, some of them goofily likeable. I believe the target audience is the YA market, but it makes a good summer read for anyone who enjoys a romance, or friendly aliens, or fairy tales.

This is book one in a series, and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

This was such a fun, easy and quirky read. I laughed so much during this book. It definitely left me wanting more and to finish the series. It was so entertaining and refreshing to see such a close knit friendship.
