And it continues. I can't wait for the next volume!

It's such a pleasure to re-read this series. I last read the ten Sandman books about ten years ago. They were my introduction to graphic novels, and I remember being blown away. I still really enjoy them.

Book 4 starts out weak, but rapidly becomes more interesting as Morpheus finds himself as the keeper of the key to Hell. A multitude of deities converge in his realm, cajoling, threatening, and bribing him to give it to them. Who he eventually gives it to, and the ensuing Hell, is definitely something you have to experience for yourself.

Great to see some of the seeds of [b:American Gods|30165203|American Gods (American Gods, #1)|Neil Gaiman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1462924585l/30165203._SY75_.jpg|1970226] show up in this installment!

In all fairness, I'm coming in on the middle of what apparently is a series, and I'm not a big graphic novel fan. The story holds together, and Gaiman has a good hold on his mythology.

It was entertaining. I think I may have enjoyed larger text.

More prizes found in the mystery box of a stranger's barn. This person had good taste in comics! I wonder why he tossed this box aside?
