I really enjoyed this.
I mean Ryan was not my biggest love, and I won't be remembering him fondly just because of how he was treating her and his children. I think I was most annoyed by how he spoke to his kids because they're his children but he redeemed himself by almost snapping out of it eventually.

I found this amusing and it was a pleasant read. Maybe a follow up?!

Random library reading. Exactly the lighthearted, predictable and sweetly romantic story I wanted. A quick read since the story was fun enough to keep me turning pages. The non-stop awkward similes started to bother me towards the end, but other than that I enjoyed the writing style as well.

My only real criticism is all the stuff about Zoe's weight. Several people comment on it (or her eating) and she herself thinks about it a lot. Yet this "plot" about her weight never really goes anywhere. There's no revelation or discovery for Zoe or anyone else. In the end I wonder why the whole thing was even mentioned. Now it's pretty much just "girl gains weight, then loses some - people comment on it". I was hoping for a realization that her weight doesn't define her worth or something like that, but there's nothing. Why is this even in the book?

Funny and cute. A lot of cliches but still worth it, this author is going to be on my list of currently stalking :)

Although this book had potential with the trope it opened up, it sadly didn't withstand to its potential.
I felt like there were not enough perspectives from other characters which would of broadened up the horizons for the audience as this book was far to vague, and yet at the same time managed to be far too descriptive in other areas.

I deeply disliked the fact that there were scenes which didn't add to the book as they were out of the blue with random newly introduced characters which we never see nor explore again, these scenes were also cut short which made this book sound much more like a diary than a balanced story as it had no depth within it.

Although the character of Ryan seemed to be the saving grace at the beginning, by the end it felt like he had no personality as it changed from one end of the extreme to the next.
There was no subtlety in any of the changes nor were they ones which would have suited his character which was quite disappointing as if the calm cold collective personality was stuck to then the relationship would have seemed more interesting with more smaller changes as it gives a slower yet much more interesting pase. Then again there were so little pages exploring their relationship by the end of it I wasn't invested in the slightest. I just wanted to finish this book and have it over and done with.

Overall it wasnt a bad read but I am critical as it could have been a much better with slight changes.

Nice book to spend afternoon, nice plot and I wish the end has the same attention...
