Loved it! I really enjoy this series. As a horror fan I think this one is my favorite so far. It was hot AND scary, rare find. I read it so quickly - just over the course of a few hours - that I was almost upset to see the word “epilogue”. Glad to know there’s another. Good taste in movies as well! I liked the “syllabus” Andi put together for Hill.
Hill sounded like such a dream but I did get a bit annoyed when he kept referring to himself as so old (31 lol) and Andi as so young. Thirty-one is ALSO very young, hard to see when you’re that age but when you’ve past it you realize how young 31 actually is. Such a pet peeve of mine! As someone who never wants to be on camera I’d probably have left Andi at the constant insistence of recording and publishing ANYTHING but I guess the story would have progressed differently if she didn’t.

I LOVED the first 100 pages of the book, they definitely deserve five stars;; but then... when the relationship between Hill and Andi started, everything changed and sadly i did not like the rest of the book

Roni Loren is quickly becoming an instant read author for me. This was my second book and I loved it. There is some definite spice which is always welcomed but the plots of her stories are always so relatable. I loved this one so much because I personally struggle with anxiety from things I have dealt with in my past. I can relate to Andi on so many levels and the fear aspect of letting the past try to not dictate the future.

Skipped over many parts. All the focus was in the wrong parts. Could’ve been a good book, but the author ruined it.

Another win by Roni Loren! She has quickly become an auto-buy romance writer for me - not only are her stories steamy with highly relatable characters, she also tackles important mental health issues. This story features Andi, a true crime podcaster and horror writer with anxiety and her hot neighbor, Hale, an ex-firefighter with an amputated leg and a passion for cooking. Together the two bond over classic horror movies and work through their respective traumas and sexual insecurities. I can't emphasize enough how refreshing it is to read about characters dealing with real life issues. Both Hale and Andi go to therapy to work on their issues (anxiety and depression) and are gentle with one another's emotional roadblocks to love. Their journey to a happily ever after was the perfect listen on this hot summer day. Thanks to NetGalley, Libro.fm and Dreamscape media for my advance listening copy of this great new book, excellently narrated by Desiree Ketchum. I cannot recommend this one more, especially for fans of Float plan, Seven days in June or Life's too short. This is a standalone book but is set in the same world as Yes & I love you.
