Silly, delusional Don Quixote.
A lack of sleep really can make you go a little crazy.

I can't believe I waited so long to read this.
I loved this book. It fascinates me that this surprisingly funny book was written over 400 years ago.

It was really interesting to see how Cervantes developed his characters, with the poor being compassionate and intelligent, while the rich were often portrayed as cruel and vapid.

This was a great read.

The greatest novel I've ever read, by far

Veldig lang bok mange ord men sykt verdt det!!! Hvis noen sier denne boka ikke er bra "da dobbeltlyver han tusen ganger"! Det stemmer et lite sitat hehe

Two parts. I took a break midway part 2. Lots of repetitions, especially in the 1st part. The second part is better, and the meta-comments (During the 2nd part Quixote meets people who have read the 1st part etc) are nice. Sometimes tedious, sometimes captivating. Creative, humorous, and gives insight into life in the 17th century, but a bit too long IMO. 3½ stars.

Surprisingly sad. Sancho Panza needs another Sublime cameo.

An absolute masterpiece. What begins as a satire of the chivalric romances of Cervantes’ time evolves into something far more profound.

Don Quixote is one of the most human characters I’ve ever encountered. His delusions of knighthood and grand adventures are both hilarious and heartbreaking. I found myself deeply moved, even shedding tears for the man by the end of the book.

It’s a book that stays with you long after the final page. I can’t recommend it enough, especially for anyone who has ever felt the pull of an impossible dream.
