"Your voice is the only song I hear."

A story that calls to you like a siren's song. Light and darkness. Hope and heartbreak. Salvation and destruction. Strength and beauty woven into Emily and Royce and their powerful and emotional story that captures your heart and makes your soul sing.

I never knew what it meant
I thought my heart was breaking
Turns out it was only making room for you
So catch me
Catch me when I fall
I'm right here
Waiting for you to catch me when I fall

Breathtaking second installment of the Falling Stars series. I'm eagerly awaiting more stories from these characters. And that epilogue─I need more; please tell me there's more! Swoon

4.5 stars

Note: I would caution readers and label Catch Me When I Fall with trigger warnings for elements of sexual assault.

If you're looking for an angsty book that'll hit you right in the feels, look no further. Catch Me When I Fall is a masterclass of angsty tension, complicated characters, and a poignant narrative arc. I thought I knew where this book was going, and was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Reading this was immersive, and I devoured it in one sitting. Fans of A.L. Jackson and newbies alike are going to be obsessed with this novel.

I am loving this series. It feels so good to be back in A.L. Jackson's rockstar world.

Catch Me When I Fall is another beautifully written, emotionally charged, hopeful read by the wonderful A.L. Jackson. The second book in the Falling Stars series takes you along on Emily and Royce's journey of healing and vengeance. I love, love love the connection between these two. Maybe a little too instalovey but I still couldn't get enough of their chemistry.

Royce Reilly joins Jackson's long list of delicious heroes. My goodness. Can A.L. Jackson write a tortured soul or what?! Driven by pain, revenge and love, Royce captured my heart right away. I swoon for the way he loves because when he cares for someone, he will move heaven and earth to protect them. Evident by what he did for Emily and his sister.

I adored Emily Ramsey. Sweet, loyal but full of pain, I could help but love her. Yes, there were times where I questioned her decisions to keep her secret to herself. But, I can admire her dedication to her bandmates and especially to her brother - who, by the way, I hope we get a story for because he needs to redeem himself in my eyes.

I'm addicted to the way A.L. Jackson keeps you guessing. She pulls you in only giving you a little bit of information at a time. And, you're on pins and needles waiting for something big or a twist to happen. When it comes ...gah!... blown away.

I highly recommend picking up these Falling Stars books. They'll make you, swoon, feel, and love. But also, who doesn't want to read about yummy musicians.

Oh my word! This is my first time reading from the author and oh my goodness, why did I wait this long? Seriously.

Catch Me When I Fall is the second book in this series of standalone, rockstar/ small town romance. It features the sweet and strong lead of Carolina George, Emily and the brooding, tortured music exec Royce. All I can say is, this book has all the formula that I want in a love story- beautifully imperfect characters, a lot of angst, undeniable and insane chemistry, the love and loyalty that family brings. It's no wonder that I have fallen so madly in love with this story and of course, Royce. Let's just say that Royce now belonged on my list of book boyfriends, LOL! This book deserves all the 5 stars and more! I loved it and recommends to those who love this series! Can't wait for more!

I accidentally read this one before Kiss the Stars but I did not feel out of step. Definitely can be read as a standalone. Excellent read with intriguing characters! Cannot wait to read more from this series.

When it comes to Rock Star romance A.L Jackson is my jam. I'm trying not to be bias with my review based on that fact so bare with me.

Royce and Emily meshed so well together. From their first intection sparks flew.

There to get Carolina George to sign to his step fathers record company Royce knows it's not going to be easy. Not when the music has dried up for lead singer Emily.

I enjoyed Royce's cockyness and Alpha persona. A trait that A.L Jackson carries through all her stories. He's hell bent on revenge but will also do anything to protect those he loves.

The way he went about this had me unable to put it down. I needed answers to the questions that kept forming. Thankfully I got them and everything was wrapped up quite nicely.

When it comes to our lead female, Emily, my heart broke for her. She's been through hell and even though she would do anything for the band, more so her brother, She's now at a crossroads with how to move forward. The things Emily went through, she can't talk about and it's killing her music and signing with Mylton Records could be the worst decision she may ever agree too.

A.L took a slightly different turn for this book. She's delved into production of music before with Sebastian starting his own company in the Bleeding Stars series, but this time she pulled back the curtian further and even though we're on the road with the band, A.L Jackson showed us more of what happens with the record company that has made appearances in the two series. I really liked this angle. For me it showed another side to A.L Jackson's music world and I don't think I've seen behind the curtain so to speak in other rock star romances.

I loved the guest appearances from the Sunder boys. Bleeding Stars might be the original series and Falling Stars it's spin off but you don't need to have read Bleeding Stars to vibe with Emily, Leif, Rhys and Richard.

The interaction between The Carolina George crew, especially Mel (the assistant) and Rhys were adorable, funny and A.L Jackson portrayed their connection beautifully.

I'm gonna drop a trigger warning here at about chapter 20 when Emily opens up to Royce and another at chapter 31 when Royce's sister tells her story. Up until those points I wasn't sure what had happened even though I could possibly guess.
