3.5 en realidad. No me terminó de encantar la forma de narrar, pero la historia es muy atrapante.

I remember when this book was first published and advertised everywhere. I never got around to reading it back then but I wish I had. I feel like I would’ve loved it even more as a teenager.

I liked the style and the short chapters and the way the fragmented narrative reflects Cadence’s
amnesia and trauma

I think the plot twist was executed really well. Evokes pathos towards the end and probably even more so throughout on a reread. Immediately after finishing I flipped back to the front page and reread certain extracts

storyline stays pretty steady and slow until the end where the plot twist smacked me into an alternate dimension and back - feeling partially broken and in shock but amazed

"We are liars. We are beautiful and privileged. We are cracked and broken."

I hate this stupid book.
