Enjoyed this romantic suspense for its wild ride filled with bit of banter and little giggles along the way while appreciating how well the narrators brought the characters and story together!
Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks were both brilliant!

🥃Lincoln Foxx and Faye Calloway story
Lincoln
started falling in love with Faye Calloway on the edge of a cornfield, on a stage, over a bottle of bourbon, even when it’s obvious she wasn’t being truthful and holding secrets.
Secrets he intended to find out ever since her return after he told few years ago to leave and never come back .. after all he had his daughters safety in mind and now he’s feeling all protective over the sassy Faye Rose Calloway!
Faye
Returning to the one place she never thought she would as a burlesque dancer certainly brings things full circle, especially when she tells herself it’s for her sister and not her feelings for the gorgeous glasses wearing single dad Lincoln Foxx.. the same guy she didn’t hesitate putting in danger in the past … the same guy who told her to leave and never return .. the same guy she couldn’t stop thinking about.
Now she’s certain that her coming back and being around not just him,but his two daughters isn’t a good idea.. because of what she’s hiding in her past. And future.
Unbeknownst to Linc and his family Faye is hiding the real reason for her return even when they showed her ..kindness.
But as secrets begin to unravel, Faye becomes fiercely protective of not just her sister but of Linc and his beautiful daughters.
When she puts herself in danger to right the past, the only thing that matters is will she be able to find her way back to a life she desperately wanted.
This audiobook was amazingly narrated by two very talented narrators, Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks who totally outdid themselves in this audiobook that had me intrigued.
My only take away is that I find it hard connecting Linc and Faye chemistry.
It was a bit of struggle, also getting through much of the whiskey making process.
But all on all it was a solid listen.
I however enjoyed the banter and dynamics between the MMC his family especially his daughters.
I was also intrigued by the suspense and mystery surrounding Faye her family and the rest of characters in this book.
*Please note that I went in blind as this was my first listen of author and book in series.
But Definitely recommend listening this incredible narration of this romantic suspense with banter filled moments, filled with bourbon infused spice in between!

Bourbon and Secrets is a sexy tale full of suspense and tension.
I was kept on my toes while still enjoying this hate-to-love story. I'm usually not a big fan of the single dad trope, but I loved every moment of this one.
Faye is an empowering badass who helps in the liberation of one's body, while Lincoln is a lesson in patience and trusting again.
I really liked the banter between the characters and how they win each other over with time. It also highlights the dynamics between people when secrets and misunderstandings are kept, helping to create this heavy atmosphere that lingers in the background of the book for most of it.
It was so good to see again the characters from the previous book, without making a book 2 about them. The full cast of background characters is diverse and all bring to the story, adding depth and complexity to an already tense-packed story.
🎧 The narrators did an amazing job, really bringing Victoria's characters to life. Honestly, there's nothing else to say apart from perfection.

Bourbon and Secrets is the second story in the Bourbon Boys series. It follows middle brother Lincoln Foxx and Faye Calloway. After an incident give years earlier started their relationship off on a bad foot, Faye's return to town is not exactly celebrated by Lincoln. However, love and dislike are certainly two sides of the same coin for these two!
I really enjoyed this audiobook and absolutely blitzed through it in a few days! I thought there was so much chemistry between Faye and Linc, it was sizzling at times. I also loved the complicated emotions that both MCs had to deal with and their character growth was really clear.
Faye was a great character. She's so protective of those she loves, often at the expense of herself. But this isn't her only trait! I loved her self assurance, typified by her burlesque show, and her self worth.
Linc. Where to start? I do love an MMC with glasses and he certainly would make it onto an all-timers list! Although he starts off adamantly against Faye being in town, when he falls, he falls hard! He was a man obsessed and I am always here for that! I also loved seeing him as a parent, not always getting it right, but always trying his best.
I enjoyed the suspense in this story, however I don't think it was as strong as the first book. Whilst there were twists and turns, it wasn't as nerve-wracking as Bourbon and Lies for me!
The narration was performed in duet style by Lee Samuels and Megan Wicks. I thought overall the performances from both were really strong! They gave good variation between characters and had really good pacing.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the final Foxx brother!

What a second instalment. This hot AF, spicy, small-town romantic suspense series keeps delivering. Bourbon & Secrets brings the heat, the tension, and a dash of danger... and I devoured every second of it.
Lincoln and Faye do not get off on the right foot. He told her to leave town five years ago when he suspected she was hiding something, and she listened. But now she's back—thanks to some undercover work and a sister in trouble—and living next door to the single dad.
The dislike-to-love tension paired with forced proximity is perfection. These two have strong personalities, and when the tension finally breaks... let's just say the book's not lacking in spice. Faye's burlesque side gig only turns up the heat. Also, single dad Lincoln removing his glasses before spitting bourbon in her mouth? It's hot. I said what I said.
But it's not all steam. I love the heartfelt connections Faye forms with his daughters. They're sweet, sassy, and totally charming, adding softness to the fire.
The suspense thread keeps things moving quickly, building into a darker, grittier ending than I expected, but one that I'm into. There's a twist I didn't see coming that makes the ride even more intense.
Now onto the audiobook's delicious duet narration. Megan is on fire this year, and her slightly raspy tone was perfect for Faye's confident, don't-mess-with-me energy. Lee Samuels is also criminally underrated. He is Lincoln, capturing every layer and making me fall for him even harder.
I'm already desperate for the next book. How long do I have to wait? Seriously. I need more.
