Blue Eyed Devil is the second book to the Sugar Daddy-Travis series and it is just as good as the first. Because this story revolves around a character that was incredibly developed in the first, you feel extremely connected to the characters. I will say this has a plot point of domestic violence, so be mindful when you read.
A hot and steamy novel, typical Lisa Kleypas. You'll fall in love with the characters and feel your heart ache at their struggles. But, at the end, you'll be cheering them along.

I read the first half and skimmed the second half. Genuinely tho the writing was so detailed and emotional in the beginning. Idk what happened.
Wow, enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. The realism in this book touched my heart and probably brought painful tears to my eyes a few times. Its hard to read women in abusive relationships and I thought Kleypas did an excellent job giving the readers a general view of what most abusive relationships are like, how the character must deal, and the aftermath.

I liked this one, but it was a bit heart wrenching at times. It's never fun to read about abuse, so it was tough to take at times. I'm glad Haven got her happily ever after, but it stinks that she had to deal with such a snake of an ex-husband.
Hardy was as charming as ever, but I wish we'd gotten maybe his POV. I guess I still had a problem with how he'd betrayed Liberty in the previous book.
But that's why I only gave the 3 stars, the characters just didn't make me love them the way Gage and Liberty did from the first in the series.

Hardy Cates had been redeemed! Loved Haven so much.
