And once again Meghan Quinn smashes it out of the park!
Walker and Kate was absolutely amazing, very much grumpy and sunshine which i love!
From the moment i met Walker i knew i was going to love him. He was so grumpy but i just knew there was going to be more to him and there was!
Kate was amazing! She took no sheet

Loved this one! Such a great and emotional read. Also a big forbidden romance trope. I loved Walkers character and getting to see him open up and I love how down to earth Kate was.
I still feel this one in my heart! What a great story!
Wow, the pull of this one. This took the forbidden, we can’t be together, push and pull to the next level. There was so much steam before anything real happened. The pull Kate and Walker had for each other was palpable. The want. Phew. It wasn’t written as lust, it was true deep feelings. It was so easy to see the connection between these two. It felt so real. As much as they wanted to be together, I am glad they both stuck to their commitments and to their own goals. They knew it was important to be happy for themselves as well as in a partnership. I loved the maturity of Walker and Kate in this sense. It’s more real life.
This whole story was done in a beautful, heartbreaking fashion. I loved the way they found their way to each other initially and late in the story. Walker and Kate’s love story was really a great one. I loved this one so much.
Not specific to this book, but to her entire Brentwood/Towel Birgade. I have really enjoyed these stories and my time in this world. The characters being part of multiple stories was such a great way to further get to know them, and to stay connected after you already knew and loved them. I am so happy I read these books.

Wow. This was one of the most romantic/sexiest books I’ve ever read. I felt all the emotions. Walker and Kate’s story should be read by every romance reader. You can’t help but fall in love with these two.
The Perfect Catch is a delicious slow burn full of laughs, tension and plenty of heat!
Walker is an unexpected surprise. He is the least liked player in baseball, a grump, keeps to himself, however, there is so much more to him. Walker is a character that you can’t help but fall in love with and you continue to fall deeper in love with the man. Kate is working on PR for the Bobbies and is helping Walker clean up his public image. There is a little bit of dislike between them, but there is also some sparks beginning to form.
Walker and Kate’s relationship is slow, teasing and frustrating. I just wanted these two to give into their desires and explore the explosive chemistry that is between them. However, as frustrating as it was at times I couldn’t get enough. I was glued to the pages of this story. Then of course, there was a wrench thrown into everything and it destroyed my heart. I felt the pain and hurt.
The Perfect Catch was so much more than I expected and I LOVED everything single moment of it. Walker quickly became one of my favorites in the #TowelBrigade.
If you’re looking for a forbidden, workplace, sports romance this is one to check out!

Obsessed!
This story sucked me in and didn't let me go. I loved absolutely everything about Walker and Kate's story! Walker has such a hard, grumpy, stern outside but such a sweet, soft, loving center. Watching Kate break through his walls and help him through was sweet and once he started having undeniable feelings for her he was so incredibly swoony! Their road to a happily ever after is not easy or perfect but I loved every single second of it.
I don't want to give away anything about this story but there was one twist that shocked the heck out of me. I didn't see it coming at all and love how it all turned out. If this book is not on your TBR, make sure it is and put it at the very top!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

4 maple leafs … The Perfect Catch is a forbidden slow-burn baseball romance that is told in the first-person point of view of the main characters Walker and Kate.
Walker needs to clean up his image or find a new team. Not wanting to leave Chicago, he agrees to work with the new PR Manager for the Chicago Bobbies. Kate, determined to prove herself with the team, puts everything into helping the team bad boy clean up his image. As they spend more time together they grow close even though it is forbidden. The past comes creeping up and tests everything they have worked towards.
Walker and Kate's story is my favourite of all the towel brigade books that I have read. Walker is the perfect grumpy hero. Their banter was fun and entertaining, the connection between them grew nicely as the story went along and became very steamy when they came together. I did not like the decisions that were made when secrets were revealed and that is what knocked my rating down.
Audio … Jason Clarke did another amazing job as Walker and I did also enjoy Vanessa Edwin as Kate.

Walker was hard to like at first and I found this book slower moving at the beginning but picked up and I like ls that Kate got through Walker’s wall and was able to learn about him and his family and past. I thought Kate should’ve told Walker that her friend Dan was Penn but was happy there wasn’t a huge blowout. I’m sad to see the series end and I wish the other guys would’ve been featured a bit more in the last book.
