The first book in a fun series. Agatha is spunky, short-tempered, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I very much look forward to reading more in this series! And I want to be like her and live in a thatched-roof cottage in the Cotswolds.

I love her Hamish MacBeth series and, having read them all, am looking for something new. I am trying this one. I wasn't immediately hooked - Agatha is not especially lovable and I think the narrator isn't helping. I will try several to see if I can get into it.

Light and fairly enjoyable to listen to while crocheting. There are definitely some "jokes" that are not very funny and just a bit...yikes. The author still cranks out a bunch of these so I am wondering if the newer books in the series are better. I would be tempted to listen to a newer one, but also maybe not? Idk

Very lovely and very British
Me ha gustado mucho. Entretenido y divertido. Sin embargo un poco decepcionada con el desenlace. No hay un giro argumental espectacular ni un asesino insospechado. El culpable es quien parecía desde el principio y las pistas intermedias resultaban llevar a ninguna parte. Pero estuvo bien para pasar un buen rato.
