Yeesh. I remain unconvinced by this series. The setting is as badly realised as ever and Mac's relationship with the domineering Barrons is beginning to get wearing.
I am completely wrapped up in this series. In the second book in the series, Mac and Jericho continue to work together. The action and character development in this book was great and I need to know what happens next!
I enjoyed this book much more than I remembered. Compared to the first book in the series, this one has a great pace, better storyline, and despite the city of Dublin crawling with creatures, it makes me want to go there again!

Compulsively readable but also mid. Hard to describe. It's like nostalgia of 2000s urban fantasy but also the flaws are quite obvious in the pacing of the writing. I started the next one and its like 6% of the book is recap of this one. Again the back and forth of past and present tense can bring me out of a scene but I want to know what haaaappppeeennnnsssss.......
C'était ok. Il y a beaucoup de descriptions de à quoi elle pense... c'est long. En plus, l'histoire n'avance pas tant. Bref je n'ai pas trop accroché, je ne pense pas poursuivre dans la série.
I really enjoyed Bloodfever. It was a much faster read than the first book, and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for more of Jericho Barons in the next book.
This book was great as was the first one. The story line is amazing and there are many parts where you really feel for Mac. I recomend it to every one!
