WOW! I did not want this book to end. I thought the story was unique and the characters captivated my attention from the beginning to the end. The writing was spectacular, and I enjoyed the dark tone of the book. I also enjoyed the banter between all of the characters but Nightmare was my favorite. I cannot wait to see what unfolds in book two.

Well the ending got better. I don’t like a weak FMC, i prefer them strong& independent. I guess thats why i didn’t care for her, because whenever trouble was a foot she needed someone’s help. The monsters help I loved but I hated when she would judge the Monster for the choices he made when she begged for his help. I’m happy the Monster is out& she’s asleep. Wondering how book 2 will carry-on

4 stars, just barely.

idk if i will be moving on to the second book immediatelyyyyy but i kind of need to see what happens now. plus, if im getting ELMS POV?! absolutely im reading the second because i love that man. i’m supposed to love the main couple buttttt idrc for them. NOW, IONE and ELM?! i care VERY MUCH sooooo i’m gonna need to see that.

This book took me a bit to get into, but turned out so good. It is truly one of most unique and different fantasy books I have read and I can’t wait to see where the next book goes.
