By now, we all know that I am a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers story. With Apollo and Ridge, we have the added bonus of friends-to-enemies-to-lovers! And honestly, the tension kind of makes me giddy.

To be fair, some of that tension is the result of Apollo making assumptions that Ridge has never corrected, which is not my favourite thing. But now they have nothing but time to clear the air.

I've never encountered as stubborn a character as Apollo. He's a giant curmudgeon of a man, who really only manages to get in his own way. And it's a good thing Ridge knows him as well as he does, or they'd never manage a civil conversation together.

Even as they clear the air, Apollo is conflicted. There are a lot of mitigating factors telling him that developing a relationship with Ridge is a bad idea. But the two are drawn together more and more the longer they spend time together. Alone. In the woods. With very little to do once their work is done for the day.

While their romance was years - and many barriers - in the making, they managed to find their way back to each other.

Overall, I greatly enjoyed the Four Bears Construction series, and learning that there's a spin-off makes me very happy! I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of shenanigans the crew at Big Bull Mechanics get up to.

I'm so sad to see this series end but this book was a good way to do it. Its such a good feeling knowing all the guys at Four Bears have found their HEAs. Drilled had the same perfect humor that the rest of the series had. This is a story of friends to enemies to lovers and it was perfectly written. This book was full of so many emotions and I absolutely loved it. The sexy times were also hot af... Even if they were interrupted by the rest of the guys

Friends-to-enemies-to-lovers can be such a hard plot to write and do well, but [b:Drilled|58313474|Drilled (Four Bears Construction #7)|K.M. Neuhold|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1626287963l/58313474._SY75_.jpg|91427592] really hit the nail on the head.

I was in love with Apollo all those years ago, and I’m in love with him now.

This is going to be a pretty short review for me, simply because I really enjoyed the book and anything more that I want to stay gives too much of the details away and moves into spoiler territory.

It’s certainly cliched at times or a trope we see over and over, but don’t fix what isn’t broken. If it works, it works, ya’ll.

I do think it may have been a little unrealistic in how Anna was with everything, but we got a HEA and that’s all that matters.

I had read most of this series awhile ago, and I’m sad that it’s come to an end but this book felt like a good romance to end it on!

Overall I would recommend!

3.5 stars. One of the better Four Bears books even if I wanted to slap Apollo up the head several times. Boy, the man is stubborn.

Neuhold knocked it out of the park with this whole series! It's sizzling hot but also sweet and made me laugh out loud (to the chagrin of my sleeping husband) many times.
Highly recommend, but start with the first one and go in order!

Apollo and Ridge

Hmmm.... this one just might be my favorite of the series. Although I really did enjoy Miller's book. I love the family these guys have all created with one another.

I am happy, sad and a little um... about Drilled at the same time - happy because Apollo gets his HEA, sad because it's the last book of the series and the um... well, I just didn't connect with Apollo and Ridge like I did with the previous characters - and it could easily be my own headspace that's causing it because I normally fall right into KM Neuhold's story worlds...
