I really wished I had liked this more but the universe felt strangely contradictory. Lots of consent on one hand, on the other hand the omega doesn't get much choice during her heat so I'm just very ambivalent towards the details given to the universe created. Apart from that, the characters were endearing but sadly underdevelopped which isn't a testament to great writing considering that this is +400 pages. All in all, an okay read, lots of wasted potential.

This one was mostly smut, but it also had a dash of toxic family and growth in understanding belonging and speaking up for yourself. It was cute, and there was no 3rd act breakup. Very low angst, if that’s what you’re looking for as a palate cleanser.

Not enough plot for me.

Something about the writing (maybe the present tense BLEAH) made me not very interested in the smutty opening scenes. I was looking forward to seeing Kat and Liam’s relationship develop, until the author made Liam say that thing about not hurting his baby because he’s Catholic — as if that would be okay for a non-Catholic with a baby they wanted.

This has been on my TBR for a while. I needed something to help get me out of my book slump and omega verse's tend to be my go to for that and Alexis Osborne didn't disappoint.

I actually like this book because instead of just having multiple Alpha's in the pack and one Omega, you have an Alpha, two Beta's and the Omega. I love seeing the different personalities, stations, dynamics like that.

So many Omegaverse books just have Beta's as side characters and floating around instead of using that designation in the packs or as important people to the main characters. I love that the author used Beta's as essential members of the pack in this book.

This should’ve been DNF’d but I just kept waiting for either character development or some sort of obstacle to enter the chat. The so called misgivings on the book description were either never discussed or given one line of mention. The pack felt unformed and rushed, even in the end it was Tom and Marcus together and Sam and Emily together and then they all were just called a pack.

I absolutely loved Sam! Emily and Marcus were boring and flat. I hated Tom. He is doesn’t listen to Emily, doesn’t prioritize her. He’s selfish plain and simple.

I also hate how they didn’t listen to Emily TWICE and continued doing things she had made clear she wanted to end. She made her point the first time but clearly they didn’t learn.

And if I have to read “hit her cervix” ONE MORE TIME like wtf, no, and if they can hit that with their finger than she would be in unbelievable pain with all the other activities. I hate hate hate the descriptions like that. Also, some of the other descriptions were so anatomically incorrect the author needs to read a bio wiki page at least.

I liked Sam and the Nesting company. That’s literally it.

Thanks so much to Alexis B. Osborne for the ARC of Heat Clinic!

Did I tear up multiple times, particularly in the beginning, while reading this book? Yes, yes I did.

I love that Emily is not only in her 30s, but is in her 30s and doesn't quite have her shit figured out. Because same. Omegaverse is the Queen Bee of "She's only 20, but she's mated to four men" and this was a delightfully refreshing change!! I loved all of the guys, so it was hard to choose a favorite, but Sam's derpy ass probably tops the list. What a fuckin' Golden Retriever.

I was kind of thrown off when they mentioned her age. I typically don't read books where she is over a certain age and she kind of passed that milestone by a lot. I thought the characters could have been more thought out and that the cover didn't really relate to the book too much. The spice was just FINE which made me sad. I think I would read more of this author but this specific book was not my cuppa tea.
