First off this book is really dark ... I hope that she get better because she keeps pushing people away and I hope the people that are near her don't leave her even though she is crazy scary . Even so I like Adelina I hope she can overcome her dark side !
On a side note I REALLY LOVED HER NEW GROUP ON ELITES!! I hope she ends up with Magiano! At the start of this book I wanted her to be with Enzo,, but now after getting to know Magiano I truly like him and hope Adelina choose him because I think he could save her from herself.
I can't wait for the next book because I REALLY want to know what will happen next!! I hope Adelina does not die as well as the people she ares for, but I hope she does not let the her darkness over power her. I hope the 3d book comes out soon! :D

i love adelina and that there is no redeeming her. it is very clear to me that we are reading a villain’s origin story, and it’s absolutely delicious.
magiano was a great addition - i love that he aligns with joy while adelina aligns with fear and hatred. it’s going to be necessary for him to be at her side for this next book

It was okay. Things did not go the way I hoped it to go.
I mean the writing was good and all but the sequence of events made me turn against the main character and got me rooting against her.

Honestly I don't know why Gemma had to die. it was literally so sad, and Gemma was painted to be a bright and cheerful and joyful character. Before this, I thought that maybe all the elites could come together and it would be happy, but once Gemma died, I found myself rooting for the Daggers instead of the Rose Society. It all went downhill from there.....

There were parts of this that were slow, but this was so worth the read. The complete transformation of the characters and the way we, the readers, are carried away to a place so unexpected and different from where we started in the previous book. I have yet to read the third and final book, but I can already say that this is the best one in the entire series.
