OMG SO CUTE! I loved the illustrations and storyline. The artwork is beautiful and the use of different colors for each setting was cool!

My fave graphic novel and I can’t wait to continue the series! I laughed and cried throughout the novel, cheering for the characters. It’s the perfect autumn read and I highly recommend whether you’ve read graphic novels before or you’re looking to get started in the genre!

The colour palette is so nice and some of the frames are just gorgeous.
Despite the theme of weathered resilience and well, ghosts, the story is cute and there are some heartwarming moments.

This is a very sweet graphic novel about a girl mourning her mother's death and having to take on the responsibility of caring for the family business.

I really loved the art style! That was my favorite part of this read, obviously the vibes aren't very spooky because it's a children's book but it's a great way to help children (or anyone) process grief a little easier.

This was an absolutely charming read, I think I would've loved it as a kid and I found it really soothing and sweet now. The plot was pretty simple so it wasn't exactly a riveting story but I don't think it needed to be. I felt alot of the side characters weren't completely three dimensional but for a middle-grade graphic novel of this length that's not a big issue to me. Although the writing wasn't my favourite (though don't get me wrong it was lovely) I didn't want to give this any less than four stars because the art is just so beautiful. It's exquisitely drawn and I do think that has a major effect on the story. What a beautiful book. I really recommend this to someone who wants to feel warm and cosey and autumnal, I could see myself reading the sequel because I'd like to see how the characters, especially peripheral ones, progress with a bit more time to be fleshed out. Above all this is just an adorable book and I don't think it should be taken too seriously. Though it does explore some darker themes, they're discussed in a very accessible way. I will probably reread this towards Halloween.

A sweet story, and one with a great fall atmosphere without being spooky.

There's a bit of bullying, and a lot about death and grief, and obviously ghosts are presented in a positive to benign light (including a negative comment about exorcisms), but otherwise seems suitable for young readers.

Not what I thought it was going to be. Loved Wendle, but the rest was just sad. I wanted a light read and didn't realize, so that is on me.

A really sweet story about grief and mental health.
