Final book in the Boys of the Bayou series. There’s a LOT of references & appearances by folks from earlier books in the series - so this one doesn’t really stand on its own that well. I’d definitely recommend reading the other books first.

This serves not only as Mitch & Paige’s story, but also the wrap up of the series and an intro/launch to a spin-off series. I liked the way Nicholas combined all these without sacrificing Mitch & Paige’s romance.

Paige is only 22 and tired of everyone trying to marry her off. Mitch is the perfect compliment to her AND he’s respectful of her desire not to be tied down. His gentle and laid back approach allows her to feel safe. He’s just perfect.

The Landrys haven’t met a stranger and Paige is no exception. Lots of fun banter, sexy times, and planning 3 Landry weddings. She becomes a member of the family without being tied to Mitch… but realizes she wants exactly that. It’s a great conclusion to the series and for Mitch & Paige.

We are back in the Bayou and Paige and Mitch are on fire!!

We are back in Louisiana with the Landry family, in the deep south where Paige and Mitch's chemistry jumps off the pages and big, loud families are a way of life.

Mitch...Mitch...Mitch...I LOVE Mitch (and his grumpy roommate Griffin-cannot wait for his book)!!

Through Paige Asher, a girl from Appleby, IA, we get to fall in love with the boys of the bayou, really the entire Landry all over again. Even though Paige came down to spend time with Mitch, what she ends up doing is helping each Landry couple prepare for their upcoming wedding. She only expects to spend a short time visiting, but with each passing day falls a little more in love with everyone, including the man she originally came to visit, but she can't stay...can she?

As much as Mitch would like to be upset that Paige is spending more time with his family than she is with him, yes-the girl who is a huge commitmentphobe-he really isn't. He loves that she is drawn to his family and wants to help, but what does that hold for him when it comes time for her to leave? Huge potential for one broken heart, but he's discovering he's unable to stop it because Paige has already carved out a place in the Bayou family and in his heart.

This book is a beautiful bridge between Erin's past series and her upcoming ones, while still keeping this as a complete standalone for any new readers. It's very well crafted and a beautifully done story where you get a glimpse of so much without it being overwhelming.

Four Weddings and a Swamp Boat Tour
Boys of the Bayou Book 6
by Erin Nicholas
Narrated by Alan Carlson & Lili Valente

Friends with benefits? Paige has come to the bayou to help Tori with her wedding. Mitch Landry is just a plus for her while she is there. Making it clear to Mitch after she has been proposed to 5 times she is not interested in a relationship, the two begin their extracurricular friendship. Mitch definitely wants more, but shies away from anything too serious so as not to spook Paige away. Now immersed in not only helping Tori, but planning 3 of the Landry weddings, Paige is doing her best not to fall. But will she be able to keep her heart safe? What will Mitch do to keep her? And what if he can't and she goes back home? Time will tell! This is a great ending to this series! Erin Nicholas keeps the laughs coming, and love flowing! The Landrys and their signiicant others are present in full force, creating all the family drama and craziness we love. Paige and Mitch are a perfect addition to the family menagie and the lead into the next series has me excited to see if it will be coming on audio!

Alan Carlson and Lili Valente finish out the series with a fabulous narration. Carlson is high on my favorites list, his voice having that warm, sensual quality that draws me in. Valente's talent is endless. I love that she narrates and I think her wriitng gives her insight to how a character sounds because every one I hear her do is perfection. Together these two bring the series to a fabulous close.

This may be one of my top favorites in this series! I think it's because I got so much back story and more of my favorite couples!! So good.

I don’t even know where to begin in the review of this book. I knew it would be good; the rest of the series was as is everything else I’ve read by the author.

I was not prepared for the amount of emotion in this book, from everyone. Even Ellie showed her “softer” side.

I love this series! Erin Nicholas has made me want to visit Louisiana. Paige was introduced in another book and Mitch was her perfect match. This story was one I couldn't put down so I read it in one sitting. Fantastic book and fantastic series.

This was a really good read, and the writing flowed well from start to finish. I wasn't a fan of Paige at the beginning of the story. While I get that she wanted to do things on her terms, she knew how Mitch felt about her. I thought it was cruel that she wanted to stay for 7 months, but not want Mitch to think it meant anything. It was hard to watch Mitch walk on egg shells and worry about everything that was said, so that it didn't scare Paige away. Mitch was a great guy, and I loved that he loved his family so much. It was sad to think that he thought he had to earn their love, but I understand how it got that way. Paige eventually realizes that she was over the top in the way she was acting, and I was really thankful for that. The Landry family never disappoints, and the scene at the end when Ellie talks to Mitch about the family was great. The ending was perfect for these 2, and I can't wait to get to know even more members of the Landry family!
I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book.

We first met Paige and Mitch in the novella Oh, Fudge part of the Hot Cakes series and I was excited to see how their story played out. After being to proposed to for the fifth time Paige decides to leave her hometown and heads to Autre to meet up with her weekend fling Mitch. Paige runs from commitment and she still runs to Mitch despite all of that, I love the connection they have. I love how Mitch gives Paige the space she needs to realize what she truly wants. The boys of the bayou keep getting swoonier with each book and Mitch Landry is my favorite. My favorite part is the whole Landry family, you can’t help but love them even though they love to meddle. Alan Carlson is a new to me narrator and I enjoyed his performance a lot. Lili Valente is one of my favorite narrators and she was amazing as Paige. This was the perfect ending to this series and can’t wait for the spinoff series and to meet more Landry’s.

Can I live there too?

I love this family. I love them so much that I wish I could go there and be adopted in. This author has done an absolutely fantastic job bringing these characters to life, burrowing them into my heart, and making them unforgettable. I was THRILLED when she announced this book and the next series. It feels like going home. This story was sweet, funny, sexy, and occasionally frustrating, and definitely made me she’d a few tears. Excellent job.

The first several books didn't detail Mitch very much so it was great to read his story. These two were exactly what the other needs and the ending was perfect.
