Until Trevor by @auroraroser
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Sweet sweet Liz didn’t know what she would be getting into when she started seeing Trevor. She tried to push him away, but dirty talking Trevor was not taking no for an answer. This was sweet and spicy and everything you would want in a romance novel. This series just keeping getting better and better and I cannot wait to see who is next 🤭

Nope. No way.

If I had to read one more "You're cute when you're angry" during a time where Trevor would genuinely anger Liz I was going to lose it.

Trevor isn't hot... he's annoying. And manipulative. This is just a big no from me. I'm also not even halfway through this and I'm pretty sure the man is trying to get Liz pregnant even though she has made herself VERY CLEAR.

I'm ending at the wedding scene where he says he's talking to George and how Liz "promised" because she said she was "his". This... wow.

I gtg.

Can't compute.

Also, this was a DNF if you couldn't tell.

This was also a good read. I love the relationships in this series. I didn't like it as much as the first one but it still is a good read.

I didn't think I would ever find a writer who could rival Kristen Ashley for my favorite alpha males, but I may have found her, and her name is Aurora Rose Reynolds! I love these alpha male Mayson boys. This is such an amazing series.

So book 2 is about Trevor, brother of Asher (from book 1), and Liz, the quiet, shy store owner we met in book 1. Liz and Trevor have intense feelings for each other, but neither one of them will act on them. Then something happens, Trevor goes all alpha-male and the rest is history. Unlike Kristen Ashley, there are not random kidnappings or other stupid stuff like that. There is some drama, but it's interesting and fun.

I LOVE this series, and I think you will too, so if you like Alphas as much as me, try it out.

An easy read, a little on the sweet side.

- Loved how Trevor cared for Liz and was unrelenting in his pursuit, although at times he seemed a little overbearing. He got a little better later on though. He apologizes, and they work things out and move on.

- I didn't find Liz particularly memorable. However, I did like her vindictive side  (the bangs bit was pure awesome haha). I do wish she held her ground a little more when she and Trevor clashed.

- I think I liked the first book, Until November,  a little better. Like most books I've been reading lately, I just can't grasp how quickly they entered their relationship from being friends. Trevor was moving way too fast for me. I felt like their relationship was a bit rushed even though Trevor said he wanted to be her 'best friend'.

- I didn't feel like it ever hit the climax; it was kind of cruising from happy place to 'oh noes' moments, and jumping from one to the other in no particular order. Also, the events toward the end didn't flow that well. That transition from
Spoilerhoneymoon to kidnapping
was a little surprising. I would've liked to see the how, because I felt as if I was in a happy place, grabbed by the ankle and jerked out of it.

-  That being said, I enjoyed the second half of the book more, because it showed more shades of their relationship as an established couple. I'm really glad about the
Spoiler timeskip. Cole divorced that b*tch hahahaha
. This was an okay read for me. Some funny, steamy and sweet moments.

I don't know about you but I would love to have a Mayson man in my life. Heck, I'll take a cousin. These men know how to keep a woman. Aurora has no problem making you fall in love with the loveable Trevor Mayson. He has fallen Hard for Liz and now that he has quit denying his feelings, is trying to do anything to get her to be his one and only. Liz has loved Trevor since the beginning of forever but one night and a huge misunderstanding has torn their friendship apart. Will Liz be able to get pass Trevor's alpha male personality to find the man that stole her heart?

OMG.... you need this book in your life. Aurora knows how to create a steamy scene when you least expect it and when you need it the most.

I enjoyed this one more than the first one, but had some major issues with the apparent pro-life theme and birth control.

I am excited to read Cash and Nico's stories though.

I think I should point out that I was so in love with Asher from book 1 that Trevor just couldn't compete. Part of the problem is I wasn't happy that he rejected Liz at first or the reasons why he rejected her. Then he proceeded to keep sleeping around with other women. Behavior like that just isn't my preference in a hero. I like the alpha males to know what they want and go for it. I was glad the author got these two together fairly early in the book and that part wasn't dragged out. Also, once Trevor did man up, he became that alpha male that stormed his way into Liz's life. I also like that Liz made Trevor work for it like he should. This was good and I did enjoy it despite the few dislikes I mentioned.

There are a lot of similarities between this book and [b:Until November|18341046|Until November (Until, #1)|Aurora Rose Reynolds|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1376867667l/18341046._SX50_.jpg|25808543], but this one just didn't work for me. Yeah, Asher and Trevor are both similar flavor of alpha males, but Trevor just wasn't as likeable as Asher. I was pretty annoyed with him right from the beginning when we find out why he stopped hanging out with Liz, and to top it off he kept up with his manwhore ways after pushing her away while also scaring off any guy who came near her. Hello douchebag.

Eventually he begins perusing her again, but only because he finds out she's not a virgin like he thought, and then he decides to take their relationship from 0 to 1000 without any consideration for Liz's feelings on the matter. There really isn't any relationship building in here at all. Just Trevor bossing Liz around. He even starts bullying her into having a baby, even after she tells him that she doesn't want kids.

There just doesn't seem to be any love between these characters. It felt more like Liz was kidnapped and forced to hang out with this guy. The relationship development in the first book of the series just seemed a lot better.

The plot outside the relationship was a bit thin as well and didn't really add much to the story. It just felt shoved in there and popped up at random times with no build-up.

As far as the writing style goes, it can be really hard to read this author's work sometimes. The story will jump ahead scenes from one paragraph to the next and it can be a bit jarring trying to figure out where you are and what's happening. I didn't notice it as much in [b:Until November|18341046|Until November (Until, #1)|Aurora Rose Reynolds|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1376867667l/18341046._SX50_.jpg|25808543], but it happened quite a bit in here. Sometimes different characters' lines aren't separated into different paragraphs, either, so it can be confusing figuring out who is actually speaking.

Honestly, what I liked best about this book were the sneak peeks into Cash's story. There was more going on with him in this book than the MCs.

BEST DAY EVER..JUST GOT OUR ARC!! WOO MUTHA F-N HOO

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS TREVOR

Hello..my name is Dawn and I am addicted to the Mayson brothers. I don’t care which one..I love them all! I don’t want a remedy, I am happy reading about anything and everything Mayson and hope they have lots of children and cousins so that I can continue my addiction. I haven’t been so impatient about a book and giddy for it’s release in a long time and I am so happy that it delivered!

With that confession out of the way..let me tell you Aurora Rose Reynolds can write. She can weave a perfect story with the alpha male being his loyal, possessive, and growling self. In otherwords..perfection! When I am reading her books, time stands still and it doesn’t seem like 3 hours have passed and I am sadly done with the story.

I fell in love with my first Mayson his name was Asher, I wouldn’t say he was replaced by Trevor but he wasn’t compared to him either. Trevor was similar in some ways but his own man in all the aspects that count. The Mayson men have known that they live their life alone and without strings attached, UNTIL “it” happens..the BOOM that seals the fate of the future for both parties involved.

Now Liz was no shrinking violet, another thing I appreciate with Ms. Reynolds stories, she not only writes a killer alpha but a strong and independent woman. Liz has run into hard times and has to sacrifice part of herself to make ends meet. Trevor has tried to stay away from Liz thinking that she is too innocent and pure to put up with his whore ways. But time after time Trevor is reminded that she is his “boom” and a future without her is not something he wants to live.

I loved this book. From Trevor’s possessive “you are mine” attitude to his “I will have babies with you” mentality. Knowing what you want and going after it with reckless abandonment..it is the way every person wants and deserves to be loved!

Stalking has begun with little small excerpt from the next book..I am coming after ya Ms. Reynolds..warning warning!
