Devyn Sinclair writes a brilliant omegaverse. I enjoyed all the characters, but for me, the best thing was that this had a story, not just about the pack. The pack was never cruel, I liked the kindness and decency of them. I am so sick of bully books and dark stuff. This managed a good story, full of love and growth, without bullying.

A very sweet spicy Omegaverse. Can't say how much I loved the disability rep! It was a bit long for me but it was still very good

This book is a steamy low angst read. The characters are likeable. Sloane and her alphas handled all the things that came their way including a psycho ex.

I am loving these Slate City omegaverse novels written by this author. I enjoy the characters, which is important for me, but I also really like the storylines. This one is not my favorite of the three, but still great.

I don’t I think like this one quite as much as the previous 2 in this series. It wasn’t bad though. It just felt rushed and some plot points could have been flushed out better. The whole Ian thing was just weird. It didn’t make sense why he would do that and unrealistic that he’d even be able to. The whole story takes place over a very short amount of time which also felt unauthentic. I have no problem with scent matches and the insta-love from that, but had the story stretched over a longer period of time, there could have been more character/relationship development. Also, while I like the spicy scenes, sometimes less is more. I don’t need a page full of adjectives and analogies…shorten that down and give more page time to the characters/plot. Half the reason the spicy scenes are hot is because we fall in love with the MMC first.

Love this series and the premise of this book but had two major issues with the execution. First, this is such a long book that dragged on. Second, I’m think the scenario were sloane leaves one of her alphas in the beginning was absolutely silly. Also the spicy scenes were blah.
