I am loving these Slate City omegaverse novels written by this author. I enjoy the characters, which is important for me, but I also really like the storylines. This one is not my favorite of the three, but still great.

I don’t I think like this one quite as much as the previous 2 in this series. It wasn’t bad though. It just felt rushed and some plot points could have been flushed out better. The whole Ian thing was just weird. It didn’t make sense why he would do that and unrealistic that he’d even be able to. The whole story takes place over a very short amount of time which also felt unauthentic. I have no problem with scent matches and the insta-love from that, but had the story stretched over a longer period of time, there could have been more character/relationship development. Also, while I like the spicy scenes, sometimes less is more. I don’t need a page full of adjectives and analogies…shorten that down and give more page time to the characters/plot. Half the reason the spicy scenes are hot is because we fall in love with the MMC first.

Love this series and the premise of this book but had two major issues with the execution. First, this is such a long book that dragged on. Second, I’m think the scenario were sloane leaves one of her alphas in the beginning was absolutely silly. Also the spicy scenes were blah.

Love the men in this pack, they are all so swoon worthy. I enjoyed the plot, but I felt the ending was a bit anticlimactic.

Knot for a moment: Devyn Sinclair
Knot for a moment is an omegaverse reverse harem in the Slate City series. It’s read as a standalone. Some characters in previous books of the series are mentioned, but you don’t have to read them in order.
Sloane is an omega whose passion is dancing ballet. She’s the best because she works hard and does her job, even in the most challenging circumstances. Sloan pours her effort into dancing because she doesn’t have anyone at home waiting for her. As an omega, they usually find comfort in their nest and alphas, but Sloan has neither. (She has a small nest in her studio, but nothing like her dream nest.) Although Sloan yearns for companionship and being worshiped like the goddess she is, she knows that can’t happen because she’s found her fated mate, and he was happy in someone else’s arms.
Sloan shows her insecurities and lack of faith in her 'would have been mate’s relationship' by saying, “ I couldn’t bear a look of disappointment when he just found happiness.”
And again, when she talks negatively about herself:
“Somehow, I was never enough. Not even to wait for while f*cking walking.”
It made me sad for her, and I wondered what had happened for her to think that way. Her self-esteem wasn’t great, and dancers are notorious for being ridiculed for not being perfect in their dancing.
Asher is an alpha, and Sloan says he hadn’t had a good childhood and that there was a lot of pain in his past. He could’ve turned out much differently than the actual outcome, not in a good way.
Asher is a sweet alpha in a pack of other alphas–Jace, Roman, and Gabriel. Each guy has their own traits that make them fit perfectly into the story with Sloan.
The guys get to know Sloan, and it's as if they've known her their entire lives. They fit easily and genuinely. The alphas warm up to Sloan and get vulnerable with sensitive information about themselves pretty quickly.
Knot for a Moment is a sweet, wholesome story where you see ¾ of the story where the pack is in bliss. They spend most of the book getting to know Sloan, making up for lost time, and building a concrete foundation to build upon. It's a sweet story with a bit of plot and a good amount of spice.
There’s lots of:
