Great information with a lot of items I want to put into practice, but it took me 5 months to read because the book was dense and sometimes dull.

A lot of really interesting science related to food. Some is stuff I've heard before (whole foods are best, probiotics/prebiotics are great, ultraprocessed food is not great) and some was definitely new to me (some of the links between emotion and food, some of the gut microbiome stuff, lots of the stuff related to other senses and taste). She cites studies backing up her information but also acknowledges the difficulties related to food/nutrition based research and humans, which is nice to see.

YMMV, but I found this to largely be stuff I already knew about food
