Finally I managed to get out of my reading slump! "The Grownup" was the perfect pick to get me back in the habit of reading! I loved this take on the classic ghost story and how Gillian Flynn was able to shape her characters in such a small number of pages. I'm quite thorn about the ending. While I thought it added a layer of darkness to the story, I also felt the need to know a bit more about certain characters. However, I really enjoyed my first experience with Gillian Flynn and I'm gonna be reading more by her, for sure!

Sick and twisted. Classic Gillian Flynn's style. Slow built and completly addictive when you hit the second half. A great short story for lovers of dark novels and weird characters. Flynn is always great!
Im always having a good time reading a Flynn novel. This is no exception.
