*** ARC Copy ***

I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. And honestly I loved it. I've been a fan of the Bellevue Bullies series and I feel this is a perfect novella for one of my favorite couples! I mean who wouldn't want to know more about a couple we all fell for in book one?

What makes me love it more? Is seeing that while Claire and Jude might have a perfect marriage they aren't perfect humans. Even though what they are having to go through in no way makes them less than, it is nice to see something portrayed that most don't talk about. It's nice for those that might be struggling with the same predicament. Toni Aleo does a wonderful job of noting the struggles and the pain a couple can go through and feel when trying to create a family. This book just made me love Claire and Jude more and I think it might be time for another reread of the whole series.

This was a super quick wonderful read that had me bawling. My heart broke for Tristan struggling to get back on her feet. I ached for Clair and Jude as they struggled to create the ultimate statement of their love--a baby.

Pregnancy is something so many of us take for granted while others suffer in silence, slowly dying every month when they feel they have failed by not conceiving. Hello EYEOPENER!!! Claire and Jude have an advantage over many struggling. They have the money to try and try again. It doesn't make it easier or less stressful. Like so many others they will have to decide if they should keep trying or find other solutions.

Claire is volunteering in a shelter, keeping busy. She forms a close relationship with Tristan. She is only 18, and her life could soon change forever. She is pregnant and in hiding from an abusive boyfriend. She may be the answer to Claire and Jude's desire. They might be the answer to Tristan getting back on track.

But hockey players get traded. Mothers change their minds. Fathers have rights. Situations change.

1.5⭐️ I am a person that has been through infertility and during that time did a great deal of research into potential options. With that said, I should have stopped this book when I realized that the author didn't write the IVF process well. The doctor springing an IVF cycle (performed that day) on a visit to find out if she is or isn't pregnant only to confirm that ovulation has happened makes zero sense.

If you're anti religion or against adoption I would recommend skipping.

Jude and Claire are my second fav couple Toni has written. (Sorry Lucas and Fallon own my heart).

The continuation of their story and how awesome they have turned out is the reason why.

Toni took us on a fabulous look at what parenting is about- loving your child-however you get them- and about loving your spouse above all others. Their story is just a glimpse into what I think is going to be an awesome side storyline through other baby Assassin books!

5 quick stars for this glorious read!

Good little epilogue

I really enjoyed this novellas Jude and Claire, possibly a little more than their story. I cannot imagine what it must be for women who struggle to have children, it was sad reading these parts. But I also cannot imagine being in Tristan's shoes either, my heart kind of broke a little for her too. It was well done and finished off everything nicely. I enjoy when we get to see into the future for the couples

I missed this family and all of the craziness that comes with it. ❤ Claire and Jude were the first ones to capture my heart in this series with they're love for each other and always wanting to see each other succeed and this novella broke me a bit just to see them struggle to give each other what they each most definitely wanted and had tried so hard for. Even though it was only a novella i loved and enjoyed every bit of this one. I loved seeing how much had changed since the endings if the original three Sinclair men books. They've all grown so much as men but also the group as a whole has grown and changed so much and it made my little heart so happy! If you loved the Bellevue Bullies series by her you definitely need to read the baby. Nice slice of Sinclair family happiness and craziness.
