I've barely started it and I can already tell this isn't for me. I thought there would be tension but apparently not and the characters seem younger than what they are.

I listen to this book like once a month lol. And at this rate I do skip certain parts/chapters because I think the situation was just too unnecessary (constantly pushing the MMC away…anything involving Anastasia, idk why she had to be a plot point) but I thoroughly enjoy this book.
I love the MMC passionately - at this point - and I ADORE the FMC. Do they frustrate me? Yes. But I devoured this book to see them end up together.

i really tried to push myself through it but it was just not making any sense and like why say they’re in an arrangement when i’m 11% in and it hasn’t even been mentioned like 😭
I felt that this book had so much potential. It started off really good. And then it gradually just went downhill. I felt that there was a storyline, and angst, which I like in a book. However, the whole book felt choppy. I felt with the sex scenes were interspersed, but not well placed. There was a steamy scene very early in the book which I don’t think went well. The storyline was written in such a way that I felt that this book should be more of a slow burn. I also felt that the storyline about the h’s assault was also not well explained and choppy. I wish the other would’ve just explained it once and clearly. I was confused as to what really happened. And also at the end, the H pulling away from her and explaining why he did it was also confusing.
This was a 50/50 this wasnt my favorite of the authors but i still like enough to finish it.
