Enjoyed this read! Couldn’t put it down, the second twist I honestly didn’t see coming!
I really enjoy medical thrillers and so wanted to like this book but unfortunately it was a little disappointing. I enjoyed the story but it seemed to move along very slowly and I felt my mind wandering at times and feel the book is a little too long. I don't mind an unlikeable character, but the surgeon, Anne, was horribly self-pitying and totally got on my nerves.
I also disliked the narrator, who sounded a little too robotic.

Mocno średni ten thriller. Pierwsze sto stron było koszmarne, zupełnie nie mogłam się wciągnąć a audiobook nie pomagał. Dopiero później czułam że nadążam za fabułą, która no nie była zbyt złożona.
Główne bohaterki nie są zajmujące a płot twist mega nudny.
Ogilnie uważam że są dużo lepsze pozycje niż ta.

Again I have problems with the books that are rated the best of the year or in their genre.
This was a bit of a miss for me. At first I was lost at where the alternating chapters were going. I feel there was too much story in the lawyer lady it just became boring.
It was pretty easy to spot she was going to be linked to the main character in some way, it wasn’t really a shock.
And the ending. I mean it was supposed to be sit on the edge of your seat, I was just deflated when I read that last page.

Solid thriller!! Had to take points off because the medical terminology was hard to get through in the beginning
