I found the beginning of this book to be a little predictable and cliche. But as the story progressed I found myself getting lost in the twists and betrayals Brie goes through and honestly feeling very confused over who we could trust. I loved the slow burn romance and watching how determined Brie is to save her sister. Overall a very fun read with some SJM vibes.

This was a fun read, nice little fantasy. It has a ton of similarities to ACOTAR that I rolled my eyes at. It was still enjoyable though! I think with more thought & time this could’ve been something really great. I felt that the plot was often rushed, the foreshadowing too in your face, and solutions too easy. Especially towards the end, that was a LOT to happen in such a small amount of pages. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and will be getting book 2 this weekend. It’s not anything to write home about, though. I’ll likely forget most of the plot within the year.

Yos.. that betrayal. Oh mi gosh. This book was very interesting to read! I actually dont like the MMC’s that much- well i can see finn being a fav but like sebastian?? Mmm. Lets see in the next book even though i got a little spoiler KAKAKA! I needed to know who she ended up with!

I might raise this to a 4 as it is really a 3.5 for me. I have to give this book points for not making me hate a love triangle. I liked the main characters and the story. There are only two gripes I really have with this story and it’s that I did find it a bit predictable and at times the lead could be a bit of a Mary-sue. Otherwise, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a story about the fairy courts.
