Pretty good little read! Made me keep thinking about how stupid Darcy is as a partner and a functional human adult to not pick up on how much her husband had nice guy syndrome but hey, there's somebody for everyone they say... I've seen the previews of the film adaptation on Netflix but thought it would be better as a book. Entertaining domestic thriller overall.

My first of King’s books. The audiobook narrator was not the best which made it hard to listen but it was adequately creepy.

I felt like reading some SK after his name popped up on my Twitter timeline when some "genius" tried to insult him and it backfired.

This book has been on my to-read list for so long I finally decided to read it. It was amazing right from the beginning. The story was well written with detailed descriptions of events and timelines in the typical SK fashion. He painted a picture and it came to life within the first few pages .

I felt like I was there with Darcy when she discovered her husband's little secret. You see her wonderful, safe, and loving husband of 20+ years was a murderer. Not the John Wick kind either. He was more of a Ted Bundy.

Mmmmh.

Where do you even start when you make such a discovery? I don't even know. All I know is that this book scared the hell out of me. These kind of stories terrify me more because they are more likely to happen than say a vampire terrorizing my town.

Listening to Stephen King and George RR Martin talk about books motivated me to dig into my last few King books on my TBR

This is the quintessential book for BTK and serial killers wives.

brilliant story. it is expected that the husband is a murderer, but everything from his motives to the way the wife acted was very well thought out and written. the suspense is there. the choice of words if chef’s kiss. short story and to the point, and, overall, amazing
