Brilliant second part to Before the coffee gets cold. I've really enjoyed getting to know more about the lovely cast of characters, can't wait to see how the story develops next!

It was short and sweet :) a great pick me up after my months long reading slump I really needed that. I love that we were able to see the main characters move on with their lives while we meet the new characters and their stories (and also get a check in on book 1’s characters) . I think my favorite one was the mother and son, but I think because the structure of the cafe and the stories were so familiar now it didn’t hit as hard emotionally but was more of a gentle comfort read. A good read for rainy days!
