Read for ByoB

I read this in the Owned Anthology in anticipation for its individual release. I really enjoyed this short little story. Even though it was quick, it was smoking hot, had enough story, was interesting and has me want more.

Presley is a photographer and Jett is a rock star. Presley doesn't date musicians

"Jett's a rock star and I won't date a rock star ever again. Not after the last one ripped my heart out and left me to bleed tears of heartbreak and regret."

and Jett is tired of fake people who just want a piece of his name.

"Presley's different. I've known her for less than six hours, and I'm already planning our next three dates."

Perfect couple, right?

Presley tries really hard to avoid the ever persistent Jett and she fails miserably. He knows what he wants and he is planning on nothing stopping him from having it. His persistence and Presley's attempts to evade are really quite enjoyable. There is an undeniable attraction there and I think "everyone should have a Jett."

I like that they both come from normal and while there are things that mess them up, those things are from their own life experiences. Presley falls quickly and just wants to be someone's number one, but if fearful that Jett just talks a good talk. Her failed marriage has her scared and I can't wait to see what is in store for these two. Their story is not over and I plan to thoroughly enjoy what is next. We also meet a few band members that I can hope will have their own stories unfold over the next number of books.

The best thing about All Your Reasons is that is was a really short, quick read. It doesn't really have much substance to it so it was just blah.

Presley is this girl who apparently falls in love with everyone instantly and doesn't make the right choices with men. She is married to a rock star, but has been separated for six months. She just wanted him to put her first instead of his career, which he wouldn't do. Now he wants to come back, after his tour, and be husband and wife again. Apparently she had only known the guy for 4 weeks before they got married and none of her friends liked him even then. She also reveals at one point that she almost married a guy twenty years older than her when she was eighteen. So she seems to just jump right into things without thinking much. The problem with the story was even though I know all this about her I don't really feel like I know Presley. She meets and falls for Jett instantly, but I have no idea why. Because he is good looking? Maybe? I don't know.

Jett sleeps with lots of women, but has never found one he would want to settle down with. Until he sees Presley at a club one night and just like that he knows she is different and he wants her. Again not sure why. He mentions at one point that he can talk to her unlike most women he meets. So I guess that is as good a reason to be instantly in love.

Now everything in this story happens instantly. They meet and instantly both just want to get out of there and have sex. The sex scenes? Well they are basically just take your clothes off as fast as possible and get to it. Not a lot of working up to it or anything. It was just...it made even the sex scenes not that good as I just couldn't even connect with them being that attracted to each other. They were all over before they started. I didn't buy it so it didn't work. Instead of feeling like they just can't wait, they have to be together, it was awkward. It could have used a bit of development so you could actually get to know the characters some or at least let you feel the attraction between the two. It just wasn't there for me. There is some slight drama with Presley's husband, but not much. It was all just too quick. There is a second book with the rest of their story, but I don't think I will read it. I just found this one to be kind of dull so I don't need to read more.

This book was WAY WAY too short, I wanted more. A lot more, which tells me that I like these people.

Although my initial reactions what, "Presley. Lennon. Jett" Seriously? I got over the names quickly because I liked Presley and Jett and they are super hot together. I get frustrated with love at first site but this was more lust at first site, with some electric connection and fun, hot flirting.

I don't really care about Lennon or what he wants but I think that was the point in this book. I assume Presley will decide to go on tour with the band, I'm interested to see what she decides to do. Can't wait to read more.

Holy hotness!! Jett is an ALPHA male that puts others to shame! Jett is a musician who meets Presley in a bar one night. Presley is thinking of "hit it and quit it". She doesn't even know what hits her!!

Loved the storyline! I don't give spoilers, but I will say this: ONE CLICK THIS TODAY! The writing was great and the story flows nicely!

Can't wait to see what happens with Jett and Presley in book 2!

Wow, this is the first book I have read by Nina Levine, and I loved it! Can't wait for Jett and Presley's story to continue, have a feeling it's going to be hot! I totally fell for Jett from the very beginning and loved his flirty growly nature. The story comments that everyone needs a Jett in there life and I totally agree. Really liked the rest of the band too, even Van who seemed pretty remote and angry from his brief appearance. Am now going to check out Nina Levine's other books, as I count down the days until Be The One is released. :-)

I just marked it as DNF. No soul whatsoever. Didn't feel a single pinch in my heart for the characters. Blah.

This was a good intro into the world of crave. I love Jett and agree with Presley that every woman needs a Jett. I think I have me a new book boyfriend.

3 -Lindo romance - estrellas

*SPOILER ALERT*
