Great conclusion. This one was especially twisty with lots of strings to unwind to get at the truth and everyone’s motives. Had to stop in the middle to re-read the novellas and refresh my memory on the pieces of those stories that tie into this larger one.
This book was AMAZING!!! I loved the characters and the plot was pretty good! THAT ENDING THOUGH. Each book in this series has what seems like a terrible ending but the last chapter in each take an unexpected turn. All of the secrets and surprises through the book make it such an emotional roller coaster! The relationships between the characters are so dynamic and is perfection! I kinda wish there was a third book though…
I need a Trilogy!
I liked this one as much as the first, which is hard to do. Normally one is always better than the other. The ending though... *spoiler********
I also want to find out who Carys was always meant to be. And does Erik find her bc I want her to get an happy ever after also!!

This was so much better than the first book. We had enough info dump in the last book to last for a whole series, so this one had a good flow. That ending hurt my heart a little bit, though.
Eden Conquered was a little better then the first book. I had this book already otherwise I wouldn’t have gone out and read it. Still had all of the cons from the first book, but the plot flowed a little better. This book had a lot of twists and turns, some were good and others just brought the book down. I mean the ending was so cliche. I think the author lacked a lot of development for these books and I wish they hadn’t because the potential was there but for me it didn’t hook me.

so this book was a big improvement from the first. i really loved the character development and it was a lot easier of a read. the plot twists were unexpected and that was well written. overall i enjoyed this second book!
This book was much better than the first! Two reasons: the battles and the focus was on Carys. I’m assuming my disappointment came because at times it felt as if the writer wasn’t sure in which direction she wanted to the book to go in. She couldn’t decide who was the enemy so she made everyone an enemy. I may be judging it too harshly since this is a book for YA readers.
I feel like Andreus was entitled and remained that way the entire series. It was, in my opinion, meh

Andreus has been crowned King of Eden after successfully surviving the Trials and now must learn to navigate court politics as King. Carys, presumed dead, struggles to deal with her new found power as she makes her way home to save her brother and her kingdom.
I did not enjoy the first book, to say the least. The only reason why I read this sequel was because the story had some promise and I wanted to see if the author would improve and start taking the story more seriously. I was wrong.
The author seems determined to tell and not show everything. You are repeatedly beaten over the head with information that has been poorly given out by bad character exposition. None of the characters behave like humans, no one has consistently morals, and did I mention the excessive exposition explaining everything that has happened over and over?
