Opposites–attract with holiday flair. Single and Ready to Jingle is sweet fluffy fun, with tender emotions, and a little bit of slow-burn steam that rapidly heats up. Great for any romance reader looking to add a bit of spicy yuletide fun to their reading list.

I knew this was going to be bad from the cover but I was looking for something festive and fun to listen to while I was wrapping gifts. This was way too spicy and cringy for the light hearted holiday cheer I was looking for. Blech.

During the first half of the story I thought it had an okay premise it just needed a lot more editing and polishing. It was very repetitive and the charcters and scenes didnt always feel natural. The MMC also came across as a bit of a creep. Then the second half came in and it all went downhill for me. The holiday party scene was ridiculous and the ending just made it worse.

Tropes: Holiday Romance, opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine, Dual POV.

This was a fun grumpy/sunshine, brother's best friend, steamy holiday romance. I enjoyed this a lot on audio with the duet narration by John Lane and CJ Bloom perfect for fans of Kayley Loring and Connor Crais.

This was a good read! I thought the writing flowed well from start to finish, and I liked Andrew and Kenzie together. Andrew was a jerk to start off with, but I can understand where he was coming from. Kenzie was sweet and I thought she was nice for helping Andrew out even though she didn't have to. This is pretty insta-lovey, so if that isn't your thing, just a heads up. I thought that Kenzie's parents were horrible, and it would have been nice to see her actually stand up for herself. She let pretty much everyone walk over her. I thought the drama was going to be one thing, but it ended up being something different. When it happened, I thought Andrew could have been a little less harsh about it, but I agreed with him. I thought what Kenzie did was inappropriate for the setting and I get that she was drinking (unknowingly, but still), it was a lot. I would have been horrified if I would have been in a similar situation. It was like she completely disregarded how Andrew would feel about it. Andrew is the only one to apologize though. I felt like Kenzie could have added an apology too after she sobered up. I was happy to see them get their HEA though, and the epilogue was sweet.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

The perfect book to kick off my holiday reads! Single and Ready to Jingle was such a fun story. Brother’s best friend, grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers, one bed, yes, yes, yes, yes…sign me up! Andrew with his British broodiness meets Kenzie with her adorable and bubbly spirit. Together these two had witty banter and made for endless laughs and nonstop entertainment. This book had that classic Piper Rayne charm I love with some holiday cheer on top. It gave you the warm and fuzzy feels with a side of naughty.

Well, I can cross a Christmas book off my to-do list.
And what a way to get into the holiday spirit!

Kenzie and Andrew drew me in and then spat me out the other side with a smile on my face.
I loved everything from their first awkward meeting (which I am still giggling about) to the grand gesture ending.

It was a low drama, low angst, but a super cute story nonetheless.
Perfect if you are after a lighthearted but enthralling read.

Listened to this Audio Book via Kobo.

This was a very good book with a lot of my favorite tropes.
Brothers Best Friend
Workplace Romance
Hidden Relationship
One Bed
Grumpy/Sunshine
Opposites Attract
Enemies to Lovers
Lots of Steam

Typical Scrooge MMC (Drew) with a fun-loving, Christmas enthusiastic FMC (Kenzie) navigate the jolliest season together. This started off as a blind date gone bad for various reasons, turned into a forbidden/secret workplace romance.

Our Kenzie is an event planner and gets recruited by Drew to plan the Office Christmas party, at the last minute; but she will only take the job under the condition that HE be the one to help her.
During this event planning process, Kenzie works to get our Grumpy friend to not hate Christmas as much as he does.

I really liked Kenzie & Andrew as characters. With their tense relationship that slowly eases into friendship & eventually romantic, even with the fact that the attraction was instantaneous. With all of the time that they spend together while planning the Office party, it allows them to build their relationship, but there is just a little something missing to make me feel the connection & attraction. I just didn't feel the draw, even though the Author told me it was there. The romance & steam build slowly, but once it peaks - it does peak well. It was good spice.
