This was meh. My least favorite of this series. I was just bored. I had to force myself to finish this. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Oh, well. Now, I gotta wait for the fourth and final book to come out in August 2021. Here's to hoping it will be more entertaining than this one.

This book had the same strenght of its predecessors. Engaging writing style, interesting plot and really well written character.
Just as in the previous book I really appreciate the way the couple is able to compliment and help each other to grow. The difference with the previous two books? I actually really liked the two characters. I may have wished sometimes that they confided more in one another (in the beginning of the story) but I don't really fault them for it. They had their reasons. And to be honest it's the frustration I felt as a reader was BECAUSE I ALREADY KNEW that they would be together, that they could trust one another and that they didn't really need to protect their secrets.
Obviously, tough, it doesn't make logical sense form them to open their heart to one another and tell their secrets from the get go. Realistically speaking, I would probably be the first one that would have wanted to wack them for their idiocity if they did, so the fact that they didn't is actually a good thing. I probably wouldn't have liked them and their relationship as much if they had behaved differently. In fact, I think their relationship developed really organically. So yea. My somewhat slight annoyance was
a) completely unreasonable and
b) caused not only by one good aspect of the book, but actually by one of its strongest point.

I've given myself a couple of days to think about this book and my review and I'm going with 2 stars. To say that I am torn about this book would be an understatement.

Ms. Young doesn't know this but I have a love/hate relationship with her heroines and here it was no different. I just couldn't deal with her. There were moments where her common sense just dropped and she did really stupid shit. Which made me feel sorry for the Hero of the book.

I can't say anything negative about the plot throughout the books. But it just doesn't mesh with what I like to read in PNR I guess.

The important question now is to finish this series or call it quits.

Samantha Young (known as S Young in her paranormal writing) has delivered yet another incredible story. If you love paranormal romances, slow burns sizzling with chemistry, and complex characters full of heart, you need to read Bound by Forever (and the previous two books in the series, War of Hearts and Kiss of Vengeance).

Bound of Forever features Niamh Farren, a young, fae-borne woman with psychic abilities. For most of her life, she has been on the run and evading her enemies while trying to understand the visions she sees. It's a life full of loss and loneliness, until she meets Kiyo Fujiwara. The hero, Kiyo, is a brooding, serious, immortal werewolf. He's a mercenary-for-hire and no stranger to loss and loneliness in life either.

Both of these characters were delightful to get to know and their first meeting was incredibly entertaining. There were some misunderstandings and mishandlings (lol) of the situation, and Kiyo and Niamh circled each other for ages as their relationship eventually bloomed. As previously mentioned, it was very much a slow burn romance but the build up was worth it.

I typically like to focus on character development in the stories I read but will also mention the rest of the storyline is equally entertaining. So many events take place that keep the reader on their toes and several beloved characters from the previous books make cameos for fans of the series.

Overall, I found this to be such a great addition to the True Immortality series. It had intrigue, action and a wonderful, slow burn romance. While this book can definitely be read as a standalone, I think getting to know the characters from the previous books first really enhances the reading experience of Bound by Forever.

Before you start this book, you should go read this freebie novella connecting it to the last.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance. It was a fun ride with characters that were memorable and a few twists and turns. We got a peek at a few past characters and one to come. I look forward to getting more of the story that comes out on my birthday in August.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

This was as well-written as the other books in the series, I just personally didn’t connect with the main couple as deeply as I connected with the ones from the others books.

I was so excited to read Kiyo and Niamh story and I wasn't disappointed. Loved the journey they took to Japan and the mythology Young added into it as well. The ending just seemed a little to me.
Trigger Warnings: loss of loved one, mention of rape, mention of cutting, mention of suicide, violence, blood, gore, sexual assault, gaslighting, and murder

My favorite one in the series. I’m not really into paranormal books. I downloaded this series because I enjoy the other books written by this author. The first two books in this series were hard for me to get into, a slow burn, I ended up enjoying them.

I fell in love with Kiyo. I don’t know, but there’s something about him.

I admire that the lead character was who she was, and was not going to change that for everyone.

I think this would make a good TV series.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved a series as much as I love this one. They all have some of absolute favourite things to read about and the stories are so beautifully written that you honestly feel like you’re in the book. Thank you Samantha for bringing these wonderful characters and their amazing stories into our lives. I can’t wait for the final book!! Now I just want go back and read it all over again.

The slow burn just about killed me but man was so it so good! Never have I wanted 2 people to kiss more than I wanted Niamh and Kiyo too. The anticipation was killing me. I had a smile on my face every time Niamh pushed or teased him deliberately, was so fun to watch.

Ahh I’m in love. Now I can’t decide whether I love War of Hearts or Bound By Forever more. And trust me I absolutely adore WoH. The small glimpse we got into their current lives in had me melting, I’m so happy for Thea and Conall. Some of my favourite parts in books are when previous characters pop back in and Samantha does it so well.

Also I think Bran needs his own book!

Everyone needs to read this series. If you love Fae, Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, true mates, action and suspense, then this the book series for you!
