After:
OH THANKYOU. Nate and Audrey are smart. Nate asks her about the baby, Audrey tells him the truth and he believes her. It is such a relief to see that an author can write that. Sure Nate and Audrey have their differences, but the majority of the plot is not about a ridiculous misunderstanding.

Before:
This better not take Nate half the book to realise what the first few paragraphs in Audrey's POV tells us: She's a victim too.

Because I am so over that plotline.

Dammit. Now I have to read the first two books in the Sin Brothers series and then wait until March 2015 for the final book. I often stay away from series for this reason. I received an invitation from NetGalley to read Blind Faith, and since I hadn't read a romance in a while, and the blurb was intriguing, I went with it. And as far as my venture back into romance (the kind with explicit sex, not Edenbrooke or Blackmoore), I was not disappointed, and you won't be disappointed either.

I really liked Nate Dean and Audrey Madison. As a couple they are somewhat unique in romance, in my experience, as they are both damaged. Often, one is damaged and the other "saves" him/her. I liked how Nate and Audrey save each other. They are both strong in their own ways, which was refreshing. Who doesn't love a kick-ass heroine, right? And the action sequences are pretty well done, and serve to break up the romance and intrigue nicely.

Reading the first two books in the series is not necessary to te enjoyment of Blind Faith. Zanetti does a really good job of filling in the historical gaps in a way that does not feel forced or awkward, which I appreciated. But she did manage to make me like everyone enough that I want to read the story of the other three Dean brothers, including waiting patiently for Jory's story next year.

I only have a few nit-picky complaints: overuse of periods for emphasis, the occasional lazy word choices in the sex scenes, and a twist that seems entirely unnecessary. Those are just petty, but I figured the review shouldn't be all one-sided.

Take It.

Nate and Audrey, another wild ride. We've been reading about how Audrey had betrayed Nate years ago but in reality she'd had no choice. But this book reveals all their past. There were a ton of twists and turns and a surprise pregnancy. Lots of attacks and deaths but a final proof that Jory is alive and they still have the threat of the chips next to their spines. Another cliffhanger if the Commander and Audrey's mother will get what they deserve.

Blind Faith is the third book in the Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti. In Blind Faith, Nate pulls us back into the world of genetically altered soldiers and revenge against those people who created him.

Audrey broke Nate's heart in order to save him from the life he was living as an experiment and Nate thinks Audrey betrayed him for her mother and the commander. Audrey’s eyes were clearly closed to her mother’s involvement in everything, mainly because she wanted her mother’s love and acceptance.

Nate is not only fighting for his life, but he is also fighting for his brothers lives. He is also hunting for the truth about another brother and trying to locate the kill codes for the kill chips that were implanted in them. It’s a race against the clock to find the codes that will bring them one step closer to freedom.

Blind Faith is loaded with suspense; heart- felt emotion and the development of Nate and Audrey’s journey together as a family. Your emotions go up and down through this book, because one minute you are excited for Nate and Audrey and then the next minute you are saying, OH NO, Please tell me this isn’t happening.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series. It seems that Nate, Matt, and Shane are finally getting closer to that completed family... Now all they have to do is find Jory’s location and save him.

Disclaimer:
I received a complimentary copy of the book from NetGalley & Forever (Grand Central Publishing) in exchange for an honest review.

Sooo... take the plot of Gattaca, but have it written by an evil queen from Disney and add a dash of Marvel super-soldier serum. Wild, totally bananas and an absolute blast.

Another corker of a read by Rebecca Zanetti. Its also a nice change from all the shifter and billionaire books around at the moment. Audrey Madison is a lobbyist for the Senator from Wyoming and has been infiltrated by a shadowy figure known as The General. The General has devised a military faction of test tube engineered soldiers, who all have enhanced powers, such as eyesight and hearing and a few other little "extras". Audreys mother has been heavily involved in the engineering and Audrey was used is their experiments on the soldiers psychology.

Nate Dean, previously known as a Grey brother to the General, escaped 5 years ago with his brothers. He has resurfaced to find his younger brother Jory and to track down Audrey, the mother of his child. Sadly Audrey lost the baby before Nates escape and she has been undergoing surgeries doe to the injuries she sustained in the escape.

It was a brilliantly crafted story and even though I came in near the end of the quadrilogy, I didn't feel lost in the story and easily picked up on what has happened in earlier books. Well deserved 4 stars!!!!!
