i'm not going to lie i didn't care that much for the two men's perspectives. louisa and karina though..... really if it was just them it might have been a five star read. i <3 artsy emotionally fucked up lesbians. or i love reading about them at least. lesbianism aside i also loved learning more about the visual arts world and all its challenges. i teared through most of this in just one evening because for some reason i couldn't put it down. hope to read more of her in the future.

Took me a while to get it, but I really liked the ending. It’s all about how different people see art. For the characters art is an escape, a career, an investment, and a tortured past.
Sirens & Muses had been on my TBR since it was published and I'm so happy I finally read it. The exploration of what drives art and why it is valued appeals to me greatly. And the characters as individuals are very compelling and I love the added dimensions of their relationships.
