I have literally never cried more reading any book. A beautiful and emotional conclusion to BJ&Magnolia’s stories.

This book deals with grief and working through that grief for most of the book. While the other books are lighter, this one is more emotional.

this was a wonderful ending to this love story. i love the consistent theme of how many loves do you get in a lifetime and how that is answered (?) in this book. the character development in this book over all the others is exquisite and i love that they take the journey together as they do everything.
i did miss Bridget but I'm glad she made so many appearances. the ending with the wedding and mags getting pregnant was actually perfect and one of the rare times i enjoyed a pregnancy trope.
the growth, grief, and love in this book was so well displayed i can see how people are saying this is 200-300 too long but simply i disagree and loved every minute of it. literally sobbed in chapter 2 (sad) and the end (happy).

Was pretty pumped to get into this one, definitely an anticipated read for me. It took me a good while to get through but that was probably partially due to circumstance. I think it was longer than it needed to be, like if it had been 70% of what it was it would have been perfect. I like that this book explored grief and abandonment, and moving past mistrust. It definitely went deeper than other Magnolia Parks books. It also gave me the ending I wanted, which is nice, but by then I just wanted to finish the book already so didn’t care as much as I would have if it had happened maybe 100 pages earlier. As usual, Jessa Hastings writing is beautiful and there are phrases she uses often which I adore, like for some reason I love it when they “sniff” at something, it’s just so cheeky. There was a quote towards the end about grief that absolutely broke my heart, Jessa’s writing absolutely carries me through these stories.

I cannot put into words what this book meant to me.
So many tears were shed and my heart was ripped out of my chest several times and glued back together.
However, this was probably one of the most graceful und well rounded endings to a series I’ve ever read.

Love love love. A little different from the rest of the series but if you’ve made it this far and feel with the characters, it’s completely worth it.
Fantastic character development through so many emotions surrounding grief

The absolute perfect ending for Magnolia and BJ!

The writing of their grief is heartbreaking, bring tissues.

BJ’s growth and character development was one of my favourite aspects. I adored the way he supported Magnolia throughout and constantly fightingfor her and for them.

Despite walking through her grief and mental health, Magnolia was the humour and light in this story. From book one to now her growth is amazing, I found her insufferable at first but now I feel for her and relate to her in some ways.

I have accepted that Jessa will just tear out my heart and I will say “thank you”.
