obcecada!!!!!!! esse aqui é única e exclusivamente pra nós que amamos um bom slow burn (e é slow de verdade). o famoso enemies (rivals?) to lovers em que claramente ele sempre esteve no lovers e ela sozinha no enemies. adorei a escrita, adorei o desenvolvimento, adorei que tiveram partes tão importantes quanto o romance na vida deles e amei a dinâmica entre os protagonistas. sem falar que não consigo descrever a PAZ de não ter que lidar com um término no terceiro ato, simplesmente porque não tinha romance pra terminar até aquele ponto rsrsrs. que delícia de livro, perfeito pra quem gosta mais da ânsia de querer eles juntos do que o juntos em si! só não levou 5 estrelas, porque achei que ela errou nas idades, já que ambos os protagonistas agem como se tivessem 20 e poucos anos, sendo que eles deviam ser um pouquinho mais maduros a essa altura (não me atrapalhou, mas fica a observação pra quem quer muito ler personagens maduros). também acabei gostando muito da personalidade da jazmine, extremamente fiel a si mesma.

I soft DNF this book about two times and though this is my FIRST Mariana Zapata book, I have to say, again I was like a little school girl waiting for romance to happen! I wish there was MORE but what we got was very sweet.
I enjoyed this book while reading it, I kept actively wanting to go and read more of it, but by the end I didn't actually care much. Maybe she's different now because this book is 4 years old but this writing is super childish and the protagonists are both almost 30 and talk like teenage boys in the locker room both to each other and in general. It is very hard to get myself to get fully into books, especially long ones so it must say something about this book that I read over 500 pages in 2 days, but the more I think about it the more I feel like I wasted my time. Good book, not for me, probably the last Mariana Zapata book I'll read.
